Excellent product
I tried NUMEROUS halogen and LED lights and the LED's flickered. And all the other halogens were yellow - nowhere near white light. These are halogens that are truly bright and white. Not blue or blinding. Love. Love. Love.

Probably the best choice for near white halogens
2020 WRX - was looking for a white light alternative for DRL/high beams to not blind other drivers during the day with LEDs as DRLs. These are not bad. Expect yellow colored bulbs when the DRLs are on and near-white when you turn on your high beams.

Best bang for your buck by a long shot!
These bulbs are so white, bright, visible and light up the road so well, that I highly recommend these bulbs to everyone. The only bulbs I've found to be brighter are the PIAA Super GTX bulbs, but they are also nearly twice the price. I have tried dozens of bulbs over the years and these are absolutely the best bang for your buck. PIAA is pricey and a bit brighter and the GP Thunder are very cheap and appear to be very white and bright when you look at them, but on the road where I live (lots of deer and wildlife and no streetlamps at all) they are not worth even the the cheap price. Phillips has found the perfect balance and I will buy these for my brand new Veloster when the bulbs burn out. They are quite impressive.

Unsatisfactory performance compared to previous version of same product
Very dissatisfied with this product as compared to order for same part from Amazon 2 years ago.See included photo, the 2019 design is left, 2021 design on right. It seems that the product production has been moved from Europe to China and slight design changes lead to warmer color and poor beam alignment compared to same product sold in 2019. Previous version has sharp centered beam pattern like OEM but whiter color. 2021 version has unfocused beam pattern and warmer color.Given the sketchiness of Amazon regarding sellers and authentic parts, maybe these are not actually Phillips bulbs, but inferior aftermarket parts? Or maybe Phillips quality has gone down. The product works, but not well.

but I thought I might try something a little better, and these didn't disappoint
If you are looking for more visibility from your headlights then trust me, you will definitely get more from these bulbs. I have a 2010 civic and the standard yellowish bulbs were OK, but I thought I might try something a little better, and these didn't disappoint. They are brighter, but not as bright(blinding) as those HID kits, but I think that's overkill anyway. These bulbs are perfect. The color that these bulbs put out in my car is a blue-ish white with a very slight green tint to them. I have had them (low and high beam sets) since January and they are just as good as the day I put them in. Thanks!

Lesson Learned...
Spoiler Alert: I think the only person who's going to be thrilled with these bulbs will someone who has a cosmetic need to have a really blue-looking bulb sitting in their headlight reflector...when the lights are not in use. I purchased these 5000K Philips DiamondVision 9005s to replace the excellent 4100K Philips CrystalVision Ultras I had in my 2017 Chevy Volt's high beams. Now, Philips tells you right on the DiamonVision package that these bulbs will only last a couple of hundred hours, but I figured that that might be OK as I'm only using them in my 2017 Chevy Volt's high beams and the car has such fantastic stock L.E.D. low beams that the high beams don't get used all that much. My only problem with the CrystalVision Ultras was that the light they produce looks slightly "yellow" when compared to the (admittedly) slightly blueish O.E.M. L.E.D. low beams in the Volt. The CrystalVision Ultras throw plenty of quality light that's much "whiter" than that of the Volt's standard 9005 high beam bulbs but, with the DiamondVision's claims of truly white light, I weakened and ordered a pair to try out. After over 45 years of experimenting with automotive lighting, I should have known better. As with pretty much everywhere else in life, there is just no "free lunch" in the automotive lighting field. The final, and quickly-realized, verdict: the DiamondVisions throw a light that's not really even "white"...it's more of a dull, sickly light greenish-blue, and there's not NEARLY enough of it. Yes, aside from their rather odd color, they appear to produce less than half of the total light output of the CrystalVision Ultras, which are comparable to standard, "yellow" halogen bulbs in their light output. I'm pulling the DiamonVisions back out of the car and throwing them on the "expensive lessons relearned" shelf in the garage. I'll be replacing them with the just-over-half-as-expensive CrystalVision Ultras, which have the added benefit of lasting far longer than the DiamondVisions. I've had extensive experience with the CrystalVision Ultras over the years, including in a couple of very large displacement two-cylinder motorcycles, and they appear to last as long as any O.E. bulb. I'm not fully sure how long they do last, as I've never burned one out! So, my advice: if you are in any way concerned about performance, bypass the DiamondVisions and go with CrystalVision Ultras instead. They're much brighter, last far longer, and their color temperature ("whiteness) is much closer to O.E.M. H.I.D.s than it is to O.E.M. halogen bulbs. The only other bulbs that I've tested extensively are Sylvania's SilverStar + (IIRC). They are Sylvania's answer to the Philips CrystalVision Ultras, and my experience with them is that they are not quite as "white" as the CrystalVision Ultras, and they don't last as long, either. Hope this all helps someone...

One of these light bulbs BLEW UP!!!
All in all I was for the most part satisfied with this purchase until I recently discovered that one of these 9005 light bulbs BLEW UP!!!So, I wrote to the seller asking for help. I submitted a detailed description of what happened and asked the seller to please replace the 9005 light bulbs that I bought and to send me a prepaid return label so I could return the defective light bulbs, or what was left of them. And, the seller who is located in NEVADA told me to get in touch with the light bulb manufacturer who is located in GERMANY!!!At this point I would not recommend buying ANYTHING from SPEED SHOP!!!

Works awesome will be buying again
Works awesome will be buying again. Nice bright white with a hint of blue in the light, really lights up the road well! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a great high beam bulb. Bought a set of GE Nighthawk Xenon for the lows and once they burn out will be getting replaced by the Diamond Visions, The GE's even though they claim to be Xenon filled and 120% brighter they are not worth the money and will not be buying them again, the Philips are much whiter and brighter than the stock bulbs!
