It's a simple choice. Best price, better quality and support that won't let you down.
It's been over a year and this printer seems to be doing really great! I've made plenty of mods and added Klipper features that Qidi leaves out for some reason. If you don't know look into the Klipper website. For an easy one look up screws_tilt_adjust. I bought another printer this year and it's Qidi's flagship version and they still use the "Paper" method. The new Klipper method is easier and more precise. Why is it so important for these printer companies to re skin Orca or Prusa? Just use what's there and have the software team build better printer profiles and filament profiles. They would blow Bamboo out of the water!Wifi is better than my old X-Max. The probe sensor keeps prints stuck to the bed. Cameras keep me from having to walk back and forth checking on it.PLA ABS, GF Nylon and TPU are all easy to print. I did spend some time calibrating the filament profiles using the Orca calibration tools. When it comes to support Qidi is great. Remember that they are on Asian time so emails may not be returned till early in the morning. They will do what ever they can to help diagnose or replace parts so you are back up and running. If you think 3D printers print issue free their entire life you are new to printing or are being paid by a printer company. It's nice to always have parts available and a team that is there to help. Make sure to check the Qidi Discord and the Wiki cause there's always quick answers there.Bonus for anyone still reading this boring review. The Qidi Studio slicer they recommend limits the machines capabilities. There may have been updates I'm unaware of but moving to Orca will unlock the speeds and quality this little black box can achieve. Also go join the Printables groups and find all the upgrades you could ever want!To wrap it up. Buy it! Unless you need to print big helmets for an oversized mellow this printer is the best bang for the buck. Weather you're new to printing or a slicing wizard the Q1Pro has made my shop more organized, easier to work and made quite a few toys for the kids. You can't go wrong with kid toys! It may be a simple one color robot or lizard but since you "Made it" they think it's the coolest toy in the box.

New to 3D printing - I'm impressed!
Santa brought this printer to my kids, ages 10 & 13 for Christmas. Long story short, we took it out of the box, followed the on-screen setup instructions, and immediately printed a small boat form the onboard sample library. It was literally 25 minutes from "remove gift wrap" to "new ornament for the tree".I'm an engineer, but also a compete noob to 3D printing. I expected that since low-cost 3D printers have a reputation for being complicated and finicky, we would have a lot of tinkering and fussing to get it to work. Ot that it would be a flimsy piece of junk. Or that the software would suck. Happily, that has NOT been the case. The kids have printed almost 30 hours worth of stuff without a single print failure. Today I helped my son draw a light saber in CAD, which he just pulled it off the printer an hour ago. The look on his face was priceless and we all marveled at how cool it was! We are using 'anycubic' brand generic PLA in a handful of colors, and the printer just cranks out parts like it's the easiest thing in the world. I am beyond impressed.I can't speak to the quality of customer service (supposedly it's good) as we have not needed it at all. I did manage to get the filament jammed in the head trying to unload it, but the printer came with all of the tools needed to take apart the print head and (with great care and crossed fingers) clear the jam. To be fair the printer told me in bright red letters that using the auto-unload might cause a jam but I ignored it. So yeah... heed the warning and save yourself some hassle on that one.Pros:It has printed 100% reliably so far using generic PLA resinThe auto bed-leveling worked perfectly out of the box. I did not have to adjust anything. It's VERY quiet. Quieter than an inkjet printer. It's enclosed so you can print ABS and ASA filament. It's a core X-Y machine so the bed is stable. Tall and slender parts do not fall over during print. The included slicer software was very easy to learn, very fast, and comes with useful default settings. The unit connected to our WiFi on the first try and we are now able to send files straight from the computer and see progress on the included camera. The touch screen interface is easy to understand.Tools for maintenance are included. The overall build quality is really nice! You can print big stuff - almost 10" tall!Cons:The enclosure does not have any filtration, so fumes from printing ABS can escape. There are 3-D printable filters that can be added to it, however it's extra time and work. The auto-filament unload did not work (it warns of this on the display, but why have it if it doesn't work?)Granted we have only run it for about 28 hours of total print time, but my initial impressions are that I am very pleased with this product.
