Great to have a supply
Got the package and just a couple of three things to say on the cheese. Tastes OK yes, didn't realise they come in 4 blocks of 28 slices in each block. No separate liners. So keep in mind if you need to store this as I have done, half in the fridge and half in the freezer. The fridge half I put into a Tupperware container so they keep better and don't go stale and stick to the fridge shelf. The other half will come out to defrost when I need more. I'll let you know if this wasn't a good idea! Hopefully will be OK. Long sale buy date till December 2021, came well wrapped in a foil bubble wrap and still cool when arrived. Time will tell...

Good substitute for recipes requiring American cheese.
This is a processed American style cheese. It is similar to what you get as individually wrapped slices in the grocery store, but so much tastier , as well as being healthier since it 70% milk, while many of the individually wrapped items are primarily Palm oil with powdered whey, reconstituted so it can move higher on ingredients list.If you have ever tasted real American cheese, this isn't quite as good, but it's the best you can find here, and it does work well enough in all the recipes I have tried that call for American cheese. It melts very easily and blends perfectly into sauces, making it easy to achieve the perfect macaroni and cheese. But because it more processed than a full American cheese, I would always mix this with cheddar, ideally red, for best results. For those of you who prefer homemade fast food items , these are the perfect slices for fakeaway burgers. It really does help you achieve the fast food at home experience. I enjoy burgers with a good red cheddar as well, but I absolutely will not eat a burger with a cheap oil based slice. This cheese also passes the canine sniff and taste test. My dogs will not eat the individually wrapped slices or anything covered in them. offer them a burger with that stuff, and you will have to cut the top layer off and every shred of the fake cheese to get them to eat it. I have never felt comfortable feeding the children food that the dogs sniff and walk away from in disgust. Given the choice, they prefer good British cheese, but they will eat this. Most people will not care what the dogs eat, but I believe they know real food. They won't eat most fast food either.Since we use this only for specific foods like burgers and macaroni cheese, I find it best to divide the cheese into 8 portions and freeze. It thaws out fine, and it does keep well if in a sealed container in the refrigerator. we have also kept it without chilling for a couple overnight when camping and short of ice chest space., as long as you can keep it cool enough to avoid melting. If you want a very quick easy camp meal, precook burgers at home, heat over a disposable grill or even coffee can with coal or sticks to get the smoky flavour and throw a couple of squares of cheese on .But my absolute favourite use for this is a ham and cheese toastie with tomato soup. This melts so easily and it's so nice and creamy.Don't be confused by look alike sold in some stores. There are many burger slices, but I have not found any with as much milk content or as nice a flavour.

Looked promising but sadly are disappointing!
After reading the mostly positive reviews I thought I’d give these a try - I’ve been searching for the closest thing to Kraft singles like those used in McDonalds burgers for a while now. Pricing-wise for the amount you get is good. From the lack of individual wrapping it seems these were designed originally for restaurants and other establishments selling food in higher volumes, which is fine especially when peeling each slice away from the stack is easy to do. Plus, less plastic used is always good! Many reviews mentioned that they melt nicely and have a good flavour to them, however some stated that there is an unpleasant saltiness that overpowers the tangy cheese flavour you are looking for. I have to say that unfortunately I agree with the latter and that the saltiness ruins it for me, although I could only notice it enough to not like it when I tried a little melted on its own. In wraps they are ok, seem to harden back up pretty quick compared to other processed cheeses I’ve tried which is disappointing when you enjoy the gooeyness they are so famous for. Haven’t tried them on burgers yet but I have a feeling that they won’t be much (if at all) better than what I have already had them with, again disappointing when there’s not a lot out there on the market that is accessible to the UK.Most likely case now is that I’ll stick to buying Co-op and Lidl cheese singles, which by the way are very good for UK cheese single standards. They have a good melting and stay gooey in wraps etc, however literally the only downside to those singles is the lack of cheesey flavour that places like McDonalds have in theirs. Overall it is very likely that I won’t be buying these again, my advise to anyone curious is that it isn’t worth the £14 to see if you’d like them when you can get overall better product from places close to home at much lower amounts and therefore prices.TLDR;- Price is good for the amount you get: 112 (smaller than normal) slices for £14 is competitive with store own brands.- Flavour is more towards saltier side on its own, not pleasant in my opinion.- Melted texture and consistency does not beat the creamier ones of UK store-bought cheese singles (Co-op and Lidl are the best I’ve had).- Haven’t tried them in burgers, mac & cheese, etc so not sure if they’d fare better. They probably won’t though.- Not worth the £14 to see if I’m wrong.

Item arrived spoiled
This item requires chilling. In not taking necessary precautions, this has arrived spoiled and is basically inedible. Do not recommend buying. As it is a chilled good, they do not reimburse you, nor exchange the item (per their policy).

Great cheese slice
This is the closest I have found to the old Kraft cheese slice. Sadly missed as all others look glossy and half the weight is the plastic coating. These are packed beautifully and separate easily. Nice tangy cheese flavour and melt onto burgers, toasties well.
