this engine is perfect for our layout! pulls good and smooth, and looks fantastic! this version is DC, but thats exactly what we wanted ! i may purchase another color/style of this engine! great value !!

Beautiful unit,but mine does not work properly
Received the unit and it work just barely.Lights up fine,but even under full power it will inch and stop,repeat.Unfortunately I am not able to return do to not mobile enough to make it to drop center.It will look nice on my shelf though.Next time I will try for the CP model.Usually walthers are perfect.Maybe it was the transit.Thanks anyways.-chris
