I love the format. It's the perfect size to keep me on track with daily Bible Study. There's maybe a third of the space you'd get with a full-size college ruled sheet for the journal section, but the prompts keep me focused on prayer, study, and the goals I've set for myself in the journal. There's a monthly review section, which is helpful, and a habit tracker. Just using the journal is the habit I'm focusing on, and the succinct prompts and limited space make this a doable task. I'm not going to read/review the whole Bible in a day, and this helps me to make a smaller time commitment that I will mostly stick to. If you're just Journaling and need more space, which I do as well, I recommend a regular spiral bound notebook. Anyway, this looks nice as well, which helps me to keep my Bible time special.

Edited Later: I’ve repurchased this. I’m happier with it than I anticipated, and this is after two months of use. I really like this daily journal to accompany my Bible reading. I can note the passage read, reflect upon it briefly, then write a short prayer of thanks. Then comes a list of 3 blessings, 1 major goal, and 3 priorities along with a reward when finished. At the end of the week is a retrospective then a prospective for the coming week. These are all just the right length for me.I selected the Men’s even though I’m a woman because I preferred the displayed images. The Women’s version has flowery images and requires a bit more writing.Some might be put off by the cardboard front and back of the journal. The pages are sewn together, which is a preferable binding to glue. The individual pages are a good weight, and thus far my gel ink has not bled through. I can see a woman wanting to take a few extra minutes to color the images on her daily pages, should she have time for that.The journal is designed for only a portion of the year and can be easily replaced. The publisher sells binders (brown for men, aqua for women—and I would purchase the aqua; they pegged me correctly there) into which this journal can slide. I do not mind the cardboard cover binding the journal.I do not yet know if I will repurchase this journal. I tend to want changes as my year changes. I would prefer a looseleaf version that I could use with one of the leather binders that I currently have. If the publisher creates a looseleaf version, that I will certainly buy.The review is suggesting ideas to present, like color, smell, and softness. The journal is black & white. It has no real smell. The hard cardboard front and back makes it not soft. The publisher’s available binder would address color and softness.

Very nice journal/planner. It helps to keep me focused on the important things. Nice quality as well. I would recommend this to anyone looking to stay focused and journal their Christian walk.

I got this journal for my husband as a part of his graduation gift. He was so excited about this part of his gift than anything else I got him. He was instantly taken by it. We were sitting for dinner when I gave it to him. He put all the other gifts back in the bag and kept this one out as we were still all eating and hanging out. He got home and was so excited to check it out. He scanned the QR code to learn more and started writing in it immediately! This is an amazing well thought out journal for men. Made by men of God for med of God. You can see in every detail of this journal it was a spirit led project to help men be all God has called them to be. I cannot be more happy with this purchase! I pray God continue to do His good work in the small family owned business who created this and every man who gets this journal. Words can't express how impressed, and blessed I am to get this for my husband. If your reading this review, get the men in your life this journal. The value of this is awesome, thick paper, very functional, easy to use, just a beautiful journal to have. Happy my wife got it for me.

This journal is amazing. It allows for true introspection.

I've been using this for 2 months now and I honestly love it. It really helps with organization of reading, giving me the opportunity to journal my thoughts in a constructive way, and organize other aspects of my life (what do I need to do today, what am I thankful for, etc.)2 reasons I cannot give this 5 stars: 1 minor, 1 major.First, the pen sent with it is inconsistent with writing. I love the weight, I love the look, but the writing of the pen leaves a lot to be desired...nothing crazy bad though.Secondly, the major complaint. The months in the book are organized in 4 week blocks. Only 1 month has 4 even weeks in it. This leads to months running over into the next "month" in the journal. If I were to offer feedback to the manufacturer, give us 31 days in each month block. 7 months out of the year have 31 days, the rest can just leave the pages blank or crossed out. The week blocks can still be organized after every 7th day, nothing would change with that.

The leather is excellent, the journal pages are nice and easy to navigate and the pen is nice and looks very professional. I got this for my dad for Christmas and he loved it.
