Arrtx Acrylic Paint Pens
As an artist, I absolutely love these acrylic paint pens. Yes, they do require some patience when you're first filling the ink into the nib, but that’s hardly a major obstacle for anyone who knows how to handle their supplies. The key is paying attention to the window and taking your time. If you do that, these pens will NOT overflow or leak. The colors are vibrant and rich, with an impressive range of hues, including two gorgeous metallics. I own both Posca and Arrtx pens, but these surpass them in every way. The ink flow is superior, there’s a broader selection of colors, and the nibs are more precise. These are fantastic quality pens, and when used properly, they deliver amazing results.

Better than Posca!
I haven't used these long enough to say if they will stand the test of time, but from my usage over the past month, they are just what I've dreamed of! I love the tip, the way the paint flows and the size of these brush markers. I wish the white was more opaque, but layering works!

Hard to get paint flowing but works well
I bought the Simptap markers because I liked the idea of a button to flow paint instead of pushing the nib in however it is VERY hard to get the paint to flow. Initial priming took a few minutes per marker and even after that it takes a few tries to get the paint flowing. However once it flows the coverage is great. I do have to put a few coats if I'm going lighter over a darker color (like using white to correct a few lines) but even still it works great. The colors are very vibrant, too! The paint dries quickly, which is great since you dont have to wait for it to dry to add the next layer. However it makes blending colors a bit tricky. You have to go back and forth between the colors multiple times but once you figure it out it's not too bad.My black and lighter green, however, seem to have lots of issues getting paint to flow and I have to go over areas multiple times in order to get good coverage. I can get paint to flow for a few strokes before it dries out and i have to reprime the paint pen.The brush tip is nice however depending on what you're using them on it looses it pointed tip very easily.Overall though I really like these and have been using them a lot!

These Are Very Opaque
I was looking for a white paint marker, or something with which to lay down an opaque, white mark for highlighting my watercolor artwork. And though gouache works well, it will ruin my brush unless I'm careful to clean it immediately after using. What I really needed was something like an acrylic paint on a brush tip. On a YouTube recommendation, I discovered Arrtx. This is almost perfect for my needs. The brush tip allows me to apply the acrylic in a very fine line, although I would appreciate something even finer. But at this point, I'm happy.Hopefully the company will soon sell the white acrylic pens as singles instead of in a pack of 24. The caps snap shut very securely, so I'm not concerned about any drying-out issues. And following the directions, they're very easy to get the paint flowing if using them for the first time.As for opacity, even the white paint is quite opaque over a black surface. And if you need to apply a second layer to make it 100% opaque, there's very little waiting time because the acrylic dries pretty quickly.

Nice colors, good flow but hard to get started
Pros: Nice colors, once started the marker flows nicelyCons: It was harder than expected to get all of the markers primed. The coverage on some colors is more sheer than expected.Overall, easy to use and a great product.

Disappointed, hectic experience 😕
So I have tried several paint markers and I was really super excited for these paint markers but I had some issues, so first of all the push design with the little caps on the back is really difficult for storage and for on the go, eventually I just took all of the little end caps off the back of the marker , then the second issue I had was the markers no matter how much shaking I did the paint inside is separated and it's not nice clean colors they are muddy and separated and gross, I was really disappointed with the markers and would have rather gotten like posca pens or different acrylic markers all together, im a broke artist and I was really disappointed I went out of my way and spent 40 dollars on paint markers that were a hectic disaster.

Not a lot of colors, dries out easily, but can make it work
Pros: when the paint is flowing, they draw very smoothly/opaquely. Easy to fill large areas. Colors are bold and fun.Cons: not a lot of color options - especially for skin tones, they also dry out SUPER quickly and sometimes you can shake them/press the buttons to get the paint flowing again, but often i have to set a color down for 20-30 mins before it will start working again which is very annoying. Other times the paint overflows out of the marker way too easily and makes a huge mess.Neutral: third category because this last frustration is more of a me issue than the markers themselves. I am a person who likes to blend colors - especially when I don’t have a lot of color options to start with, and it’s a struggle to do that with these. They dry so fast (faster even than regular acrylic paint) but as you can see in the first image, after a few projects I figured out a way to kind of make it work using a paintbrush immediately after adding strokes to create a bit of a blended effect. It’s less than ideal process wise, but I imagine these markers were not created with the intent of being able to blend at all so it didn’t seem fair to list it as a con.

Beautiful opaque colors.
Beautiful opaque colors. Love the brushes! Only issue is that one of the markers wouldn't activate. Attempting to get it replaced without having to send the whole set back.
