Does the option with the deluxe plus accessories kit come with the low-voltage hose? will it fit an old nutone low voltage inlet?

I had to order mine separate, it was about $40.

I would like to install an exhaust hepa filter since discharge will be in the mechanical room. is this allowed, and what parts would be recommended?

Hi, Yes, you can vent the vacuum outside and/or install an additional muffler on the exhaust of the vacuum but it is not necessary as our vacuums filters the air that is coming out of the exhaust twice. How long is the hose that it comes with?

I only needed the canister. They have a website and they answered my email promptly during work hours.

Does this connect directly to the 12V switch lines or is a separate relay necessary?

The 12v system is what turns the vacuum on and off.. not magic. All central vacs have a dc tranformer to create that circuit which is used when you flip the switch on your handle....
