VonShef Thermal Airpot Beverage Dispenser Carafe, Stainless Steel, 103 Fluid Ounces or 3 Liters

I was able to purchase this used-like new from amazon warehouse at an amazing discount. BUT, even without the discount, this airpot is totally worth the price. We tested it out by filling it with boiling water. The water stayed hot (like steamy hot) for maybe 15-20 hours and after 24 the water was still nice a warm. There was a crack in the snap closure that'll I'll need to fix with some superglue to prevent it from completely breaking. But other than that, it's perfect. As I write this review, I have another in my cart!Oh! I did give three stars on "Easy to Clean". It doesn't come with a brush, so I'll have to make that purchase or use a spoon or something to scrub the inside. Otherwise, worth the investment. Hopefully it lasts a long time!

This 5 liter beverage dispenser is HUGE and perfect for tailgating, a party or large family gathering indoors or out.It keeps liquids hot for hours while the stainless steel exterior and carry handle remain cool to the touch.The pump mechanism works smoothly, allowing easy dispensing of hot chocolate, cider, coffee, or just hot water.I love that it has a swivel base to it - a nice feature that I have not seen on other beverage dispensers.I have used this indoors for parties, outdoors at night around a fire pit, and yes, for tailgating.This was the largest pot of this kind that I could find short of a traditional coffee urn, which requires electricity.The capacity, quality and versatility of the VonShef Thermal Airpot Beverage Dispenser makes for a combination that is tough to beat.

Haven’t used it much. But when used, it still Keeps content hot after 4years of having it. Would definitely recommend.

I bought this beautiful dispenser and it was all that I expected. I made my gluh wein (mulled wine) for Christmas Eve and poured it into the dispenser at 4:30 pm. At 10:00pm it was still warm. It worked as it should. After reading other reviews I made sure to set it upright so as to not leak. I am not sure if it would leak on it's side. I would recommend this product. I originally purchased the 5L which is huge and exchanged it for the 3L. The three litre is a perfect size for two bottles of wine and all the additions. The thermos is stainless inside and out and besides keeping liquids warm is beautiful to look at. I want to also mention (after reading another review) I had no problem pumping all the way to the bottom. The pump was fine and did not need to be pumped but held down until it stopped pouring and then released and held down again.

Purchased this unit for work at the end of May 2015. We go trough 2-4 pots of coffee six days a week so this unit has seen a lot of use. I was wary of purchasing this unit based on the mixed reviews- maybe it depends on the pot. This one has been doing a good job of keeping our coffee warm long enough to drink. (Our previous pot was a name brand that would let the coffee get COLD in under two hours.)The top has an open/closed switch. When closed you can't depress the top to pump coffee. I assume it also helps keep the coffee hotter but since we never have it in the closed position I'm not sure if it changes anything or not.You get a fair amount of coffee with each pump. Not as much as some so it does take a few pumps to fill your cup. That isn't too much of an issue for me though.However there is one issue- we wash the unit every night and at some point water got into the pump mechanism. It caused the spring to rust and the whole thing snapped in two. This meant you could still pump the unit but it would only go half way up so you had to pump double what you normally would.While the unit didn't have directions with it coffee pots are fairly straight forward and since we go through them fairly quick I'm not a stranger to taking them apart. I removed both the plastic bellow (which seemed a bit cheaper in quality then some brands) and the broken spring. I replaced both with the name brand bellow and spring. It wasn't a perfect fit but it is working at the moment saving us having to replace a fourth coffee pot!So while this is a good unit make sure you are only wiping down the top when you wash it to avoid the spring rusting. (The top removes easily.)

This was better than expected. I reviewed several Airpot as I wanted one that kept the beverage hot at least through the morning at my workplace...we are in North Dakota so even the best insulated pot can't always keep it hot. This Airport is great and I've been using it for about a month now - it keeps the coffee hot until it's gone which is usually around noon and was poured in about 730am. I'm sure it would keep it hot longer than 4 1/2 hours as it comes out steaming until it's gone. This pot is also large - will hold nearly two standard (10-12 cup) pots of coffee - so it's LARGER THAN the old standard airports in the U.S.Easy to handle, operate, and clean - this is definitely a great airpot.

i went for this large carafe as we hold events on our farm and need to focus on the workshop and not refilling hot water. These are great! more sturdy than any others i have used. The bottom spins which is a feature I wish it didnt have. I received the first one with that part broken so now im super aware not to drop it down hard. Its a flimsy part which is not needed. Kept our water hot for 5 hours...perhaps more but we emptied them at the end of the event. The push down button in the center is nice. I have used others with more of a handle to that function that were a real pain.
