Fasgear 12VHPWR Adapter 90 Degree 1 Pack Right Angle PCI-e 5.0 16pin Power Adapter 12+4pin 600W GPU Male to Female Connector Compatible with GeForce RTX 3090Ti 4070Ti 4080 4090 Graphic Card (Type B)

Using this adapter in conjuction with a Fasgear PCI-e 5.0 Extension Cable,16Pin(12+4) and a Strix 4080.Was initially terrified of using these new 600w cables or adapters due to the rampant horror stories about melting etc. Fortunately my fears about this were totally unfounded.Card is working perfectly with no issues. Nor my cables or my 90 degree adapter are hot to the touch. Yay:)

This adapter has worked really well to allow fitting of a Gigabyte 4090 oc gaming card (3 fan version) into a rather snug space in terms of clearance between the adapter and the case side.Having said this not sure who came up with socket specification, it seems insubstantial compared to it's power requirements.However, having triple-checked, the connection (don't want any burnt out/melted connections) between the adapter, cable and socket connectors, all fit really snuggly so very happy.

Lasted about a year but has now failed spectacularly. The thing has melted into the gpu power socket. £2k gpu rendered useless. Best part? Asus won't repair the gpu specifically because I used this adapter. Be warned, using this will VOID your gpu warranty. I now have to pay an expert between £125 and £400 to repair it. Main reason people buy these 90 degree adapters is to avoid situations like this, well I guess this particular one is not good enough to withstand the power going through it.Be warned.

Running an MSI Ventus 4090 from three 8 Pin seperate power cables from my Corsair RM1000X to the Fasgear 600w cable to a this Fasgear 90 Degree Adaptor, ran furmark at 430w power draw, both connections to the gpu and cable to 90 degree adaptor, the adaptor works well . Time will tell but good build quality and good firm click on connection to the GPU connector, im running a [email protected] undervolt at 340w so not running at max peak load but happy to use at 430w.

Does what is meant to do. Makes my cables tidy and not bending the port

Recently installed a 4070 super FE into my pc which is a little bigger than my old GPU. This adapter works even though the gpu isn’t listed as compatible at time of purchase.

The physical shape of the connector stops it working with either of my 4090's. The connectors on both cards are recessed. This means the right angle connector clashes with the heat sink or the cover on both (Msi SUPRIM LIQUID and gigabyte windforce 24g). To be fair it does say it may not work with the SUPRIM LIQUID. However I think the gigabyte is listed as compatible.

Well made and works perfectly with my MSi 4080, at less than half the cost of a Cablemod adapter.
