I suffered from chronic life-changing acid reflux and this was the only thing that helped. My primary care physician put me on maximum, prescription strength Prilosec, didn't work. My allergist tried other prescriptions, didn't work. My Gastroenterologist tried yet another presecription, and wanted to do stomach surgery.Out of desperation I began trying probiotics. Within just a few days my heartburn was completely gone. I've been taking Florastor daily for almost a year now, and feel great.I've read up on this a lot, and I have some theories but no scientific proof. I believe that Candida and bacterial imbalances my have been the problem, and Florastor basically rebalanced my intestinal flora. Regardless, I'm a huge fan.

Someone recommended this to me and I decided that I had nothing to lose so I tried it. I am a convert now, I have gone seven months without an incident. Stress often brings on an attack and there was plenty of stress in the last seven months yet I am functioning well. I am a believer even though I do not know how it works.

It's still still a good price for Florastor, BUT (as other reviews mentioned), it's 3 boxes of 50 capsules. NOT 54 as the pictures and write-up describe.I will still use them--not returning. But no reason to mislead people on the quantity. Even at 150 total (instead of 162), it's a good price for this probiotic compared to the rest of the market.

Took this for C Diff recovery after I got out of the hospital. 'Fabulous' Doctors at the Univ of Michigan gastroenterolgy didn't know sh!t about it; no mention of probiotic treatments whatsoever! Showed my Primary Care doctor the label, she was impressed and has told her staff/nurses about this product. Google--if you're sick, research what your doctors are too lazy/paid off to do.At the start I took four capsules up to twice a day. Thankfully, I no longer have to take it! (I originally got C Diff from a course of antibiotics from the dentist.)

I take this because of a serious infcetion I got in a lab duing preop blood work. After a relapse of this infection, I got online with a support group and found this product recommended across the world by average people who have had the infection, by nurses and by doctors. My internist stated he thought this was a good idea but could be expensive. I have found excellent deals here and I plan on taking this for a very long time at least. Maybe forever.

You are a good product, you’re an expensive product, so I was trying to take advantage of the 3packages in one. Normally sold with 50 in each bottle. You said there were 54 in each bottle. But there was not there were only 50 in each bottle I counted them. Don’t do false advertising. I sent a picture as you can see it says 54. Don’t know who I can contact Can I get money back or get the product that I ordered.Thanks for listening.

This is a great pro-biotic to get your system flora back on track. High doses (6 caps per day) eradicate candida and other bad bacteria overgrowths within a couple of days and helps restore energy levels. Heals digestive tract which then fixes leaks into the blood stream and associated odors. The only negative thing is that this strain of bacteria will not colonize, so you have to keep taking it in maintenance doses.Great product!!! It works.

I started taking Florastor several years ago, because it was recommended by my primary doctor, which I trust. I don't necessarily have to take it, but it doesn't hurt if I do. I usually only take one tablet per day. I recently read about another similar product called "Ultimate Flora." Next time I go see my doctor, I'll ask her what she thinks of it and which one she recommends for my personal use.
