Frigidaire is my go to dehumidifier...
My Frigidaire dehumidifier arrived quickly and was packaged extremely well (rigid styrofoam surrounds and any/all moving parts taped). It's well constructed and has been working flawlessly since purchase. My first Frigidaire dehumidifier lasted almost 8 years, so I have confidence in this brand. This model is a bit larger than my older unit, but one purchases what is available. As long as it does the job, I'm happy. The only thing I would change is the design. The older model had the air exchange venting out from the side of the unit and these newer models are on top. If one has little children, it could prove to be tempting for them to drop stuff down into it through slats.A+++ Water collection, easy to empty collection and it is very quiet and non-intrusive. I will update if there are problems, but so far so good! Thanks. :)

Powerful and Efficient – Highly Recommend!
I’m very happy with my Frigidaire 22 Pint Dehumidifier, so far, it works like a charm! The build quality is sturdy, and the performance has been outstanding. It efficiently pulls moisture from the air, collecting a full bucket of water twice daily, which is exactly what I needed.I previously tried two other dehumidifiers from Amazon, but neither could remotely compare, they underperformed and felt flimsy, so I ended up returning them

Game Changer for Allergies
Excellent results with this dehumidifier. Truly a game changer for my allergies (exacerbated by humidity indoors). It is a bit loud. It has three settings for fan speed, the lowest setting is not as loud if you need to be nearby working/meeting virtually or watching tv/listening to music. This may sound like a sponsor supported statement (it’s not, I wish) but…my only regret is not purchasing this one sooner. .1.) In my experience, affordable dehumidifiers are not simultaneously quiet AND efficient. I have allergies, so the trade off is worth it for me. It is loud on highest fan setting.2.) It’s important to purchase a dehumidifier that has equivalent square footage (or more) for the area you need covered.Common sense, I know. But I previously purchased a smaller one with less coverage—it still helped, but if this is your first time purchasing one, it is best to go for coverage over perceived savings. It delivers better results in less time drawing the moisture out of the air. Probably better for the life of the appliance, too. Hope this is helpful to someone.Hat tip to Amazon:The dehumidifier packaging was damaged AFTER Amazon delivered it to my building.Packages go through a whacko building manager. covertly harasses targeted residents, damages their units, deliveries, etc.The package seemed as if it were stomped on repeatedly (again, AFTER Amazon delivered). The box was ripped, dented in various places, even through to inner packing.I reported the situation with photos to Amazon immediately and was assured it would be fine to return right away or to try it out.A return on my own for a large item is not possible, so I opted to give it a try for a few weeks. It was fine and works really well.

It works great, just noisy.
This dehumidifier works great. It takes the humidity out of the air. No more moldy smell in the house. I have the unit with a pump, which is very useful as it automatically pumps the water into the drain. I live in the south and there is a lot of humidity in the air.The downside is it's noisy and that even on a 'low' setting. I had it sit in the hallway right underneath the return air register which also happens to be in front of my bedroom. I had to move it into another area as the noise, the on and off all night, kept me awake.Other than that, it's a powerful unit. I recommend the one with the pump.

The best dehumidifier I have ever owned!
A year ago I bought a couple dehumidifiers on Amazon, it was some unknown brand called Airgjob. I paid almost $450 total and they both stopped working within a month. However, I didn't use the units right after I bought them, so they sat around for a few months and so I started using them and then after 3 or 4 weeks of use that is when they ended up not pulling water out of the air. I contacted their customer service and they had one fake websiteand after a few questions thankfully they refunded both of them. I think they know they were garbage. So in March of this year when the air conditioning needs to start to work, I saw this on sale for $220. I knew the Frigidaire Brand is extremely reliable and I've had a refrigerator of theirs that have lasted almost 20 years and still working like it's new. I run it about 8 hours a day on the maximum high air output and at the coldest setting. The bucket is full at the end of 8 hours. I've done that for almost 5 months now and it's works excellent. I'm so sold on the performance that I bought two more of these units, only with the most recent so which is $229. I got the 3-year warranty as a just in case. Dehumidifiers aren't known to be machines that last and extremely long time, but I've read reviews that some people have used theirs for 8 years or more. Hopefully these will do the same! Just don't forget to wash the filter in the back. The only downside is it continually runs air even though it's met the humidity requirement. So it may be more expensive on the electric bill, but it's been a solid performing unit and I really have no complaints. If you need to run it 24/7, perhaps get two units and then use the auto shut off after a certain amount of hours. And have the other one automatically turn on after a number of hours. It automatically stops when the bucket gets full of water. If it runs non-stop with a continual drain, there might be a risk of the compressor just burning out without a rest. Which would be ideal if you had two units to give each other a break.
