Our 12 yo loves science and all things Top Gear/ Grand Tour — the preface by Richard Hammond was so cool to him! The book is colorful and presents science in tangible ways with great illustrations. 10/10. Would buy again. Highly recommend.

We purchased this book for the grandchildren, but everyone in the family has become interested in reading it.Filled with clearly presented, well-illustrated scientific explanations for intriguing phenomena, the author examines many of the questions that come up during daily living in this universe.Highly recommended introduction to basic concepts of physics.

I bought this for my elementary science lab, and I would totally buy it again! It has a lot of great information, and it's all stated in a way that the kids can understand. They love it!

My kids really enjoyed this book. I did not realize it when I made the purchase, but the kids instantly noticed this was written by the Top Gear guy, and that made it even more appealing to them. This is a nice supplement to introductory teaching about forces for elementary or early middle school students. Pages are visually interesting and topics clearly and simply explained.

I did get an "A" in both my college physics classes and I've often wondered how since I still felt totally in the dark. This excellent book as shed some light on the subject.

Even high school students love this book. As a sixth grade science teacher for 16 years, I can highly recommend this book for all ages.

Grandkids love it!

I was looking for a book that would interest my children in physics. Mission accomplished. My son couldn't put it down. Excellent book.
