Unlike so many manufacturer claims, this F2000 with the additional 760 extemsion battery is in fact all it's claimed to be.I waited for a few months to rate it, mainly to be sure it actually works as stated... now after two short power outages, I can say it does.With virtually nothing to assemble or set up, quick charging and 4096 Wh life, it kept my refrigerator running during one power outage, and my central gas furnace running during another without a hitch.It is desinged for easy use, takes up little room and while it is no light weight rig, the wheels and handle make it easy to move about.No, it won't keep a refrigerator or furnance running for more than about 7 hours, but when it's in the 20s outside, it allows my furnace to run and keep my home warm during short (a few hours) power outages.The bonus is that I don't need a gas powered generator with assocaited headaches that comes with a generator, and that for me is a major selling point.

Very impressive looking and obvious high quality in both the packaging and unit materials. I have not had the chance to use as yet but it appears to be simple to operate and not a toy.

First off, this thing is heavy. In addition to the overall star rating, Amazon wanted me to rate the charging power, maneuverability, and "Light weight." I couldn't subjectively provide any rating for "Light Weight" since it's a foregone conclusion that this is heavy. Be prepared, this thing is heavy.I bought the unit with the extra battery, which is just as heavy as the main unit. The battery and main unit ship separately, from different parts of the country. Which is OK, but you might get one before the other.This thing is everything that it promises to be. With the extra battery, there is a capacity of over 4000 watt-hours. Which means, in a nutshell, if you plug in a 100W incandescent bulb, in theory, it will light it for 40 hours (Two 100W bulbs = 20 hours, etc). In reality, slightly less, because of the overhead of the inverter, battery inefficiencies, etc. In online reviews, people are averaging about 88% effeciency, which means your 100W bulb will likely still be lit for 36 hours. Which is still very good - about as good as you're going to get given current battery and inverter technology. I have yet to put it through its paces, but so far I'm impressed, and I plan on buying a few of the solar panels to keep it powered during extended outages. My use case is simple -- in the case of power outage, I want to power the fridge in the summer, and the blower on my gas furnace in the winter.Now to the important safety concern, and there's some techy stuff here... This is NOT a floating neutral device. And... the hot and neutral are reversed. That's right, on the four NEMA 5-15 outlets, the wide slot is hot, and the narrow slot is neutral. Which is absolutely incorrect. This unit is technically isolated from ground (when not charging on 120V) so if the neutral were floating it wouldn't matter at all. But if you're hooking this up to a furnace or something else like with one of those EZ Generator single circuit transfer switch, this could be a BIG DEAL. Now, I'm an engineer, and I know how to rig up a plug and socket to reverse the wiring and all is good for my application. BUT YOU NEED TO KNOW THIS. And I can't imagine why Anker's engineers would design it like this, and I imagine that there will be issues down the road. I can only speculate that, because there are international 220V versions of this, and Anker is based in China, and there was probably some confusion, and... well I have no idea. One would only hope that they fix this in a future revision. Just be aware.

This is a great power station. We dont have many power outages but its always good to have for the "just incase". Especially when you have little kids. This will power everything in your room (except dryer) and the power capacity and draw is fantastic. Yes the solar panels are alittle funky to set up but they are meant to be portable and flexible. Overall great quality and works as expected. A few little points of note about this though when you first get it.1) Unit cant just be "turned on" when you first unbox it. Anker doesnt notate this but you need to plug it inot AC power when you first get it so it comes out of the deep sleep it is put in to preserve the batteries.2) The display wont typically show "wattage output" or on the app if it uses less than 20 watts.
