10gb sfp+, works in my Netgate hardware

Got this 20M AOC set up with two Connectx-3 cards on both ends. Windows 10 in my desktop, Truenas Core running on an HP z440 at the other end. After a bit of trial and error swapping cards around in pcie slots and configuring s/r buffers, I was able to achieve bi-directional line speeds of 39.5Gbs using iperf3.

There were the least expensive for what I needed. I mean they work fine so I gave them 4 stars. iperf3 testing shows these cables work as well as other, more expensive brands - making them an excellent value. My Cisco switch reports the port status as "Unknown QSFP", but this causes no issues with performance or the ability to link reliably. Please note that these cables are FLAT and not round like regular cables. Apparently, flat cables are better for situations where space is at a premium.

Used this between two 2.5g switches and my transfer rates are about 2.5g's. Highly recommend!

Cable died after less than 3 months of very light use. It was hosted in a switch next to a fiber SFP so it wasn't even running stressed in a hot environment. Contacted seller about their warranty and they wanted the failed cable back before sending a replacement. Given cost of shipping would be half the cost of a new cable, and considering the quality of the first one, I decided not to throw good money to a bad product.

I've used multiple of these 10Gtek AOCs paired with 10Gtek 10Gb PCI-E NICs with zero issues and get a full 10Gb when testing with iperf3.

Works exactly as expected, premium quality.
