LG Channel App not working in LG smart monitor
everything is great about this looks, design, performance, smooth running, preloaded ott apps, operator, only one thing is not good which is the LG channel app it is not working, it is not opening after clicking on it.
N**.
Definitely the best monitor you can get for the price.
The media could not be loaded. Its massive in size. When you look on the Amazon website, it doesnt feel that big. But in real life is quite large. I will hv to change my table coz screen comes very close to my face. Its a monitor as well a tv. I dont have to connect my laptop to listen to spotify or YouTube, all apps are there. The remote is very sleep and nicly designed. Speakers are just ok. Would be greate if they had given little bass in it. Sounds quite dry without bass. One negatives is that there is no dedicated button to change the brightness of the monitor. Its main purpose is to be a monitor and as a video editor I need to adjust the brightness with editing. Its quite irritating to dig into settings to deal with brightness. Overall its a very good monitor.

Terrible Experience – Defective Product and Poor Support from Both Amazon and LG
I purchased the LG Smart Monitor on 23.12.2024, and it was delivered on 24.12.2024. Unfortunately, this purchase turned out to be a nightmare due to both a defective product and the poor customer support I received from Amazon and LG.Pre-Delivery Concerns IgnoredBefore the delivery, I contacted Amazon customer support to request an open-box delivery after reading reviews about customers receiving damaged/defective products. Amazon assured me that I could return the product if it arrived damaged, but this information was misleading. The product description clearly states that it is eligible only for service center replacement, which I found out later.Delivery MishandlingThe delivery personnel mishandled the package, placing it under two large boxes. Despite my concerns and requests for careful handling, they assured me I could return it if there were any issues.Defective Product and Blame GameWhen I opened the package in front of the delivery personnel, I found the monitor was damaged/defective. They directed me to contact Amazon for a return. However:Amazon refused to process a return, citing the product's "service center replacement only" policy, and asked me to contact LG.LG Service Center initially redirected me back to Amazon, and after much insistence, assigned an engineer for inspection. The engineer never showed up despite a promise to visit within 24 hours and ignored all my calls. When I visited the service center personally, they dismissed the issue, stating that minor defects are not covered.Amazon’s Unhelpful ResponseAmazon then asked me to obtain a denial or defective product letter/email from LG before they could proceed further. This endless back-and-forth between Amazon and LG has left me feeling mentally harassed and with no resolution in sight.Key Takeaways for Potential Buyers:No Open-Box Delivery: Despite requesting it, this option was not provided, leading to unnecessary stress.Defective Product Likelihood: Be prepared for the possibility of receiving a damaged/defective product. No Return Policy: Amazon's claim that you can return the product if defective is misleading. This product is eligible only for service center replacement.Poor LG Support: LG's service is unreliable, with no accountability or proper resolution process.Final ThoughtsI deeply regret this purchase. The lack of accountability, mishandling, and poor customer support from both Amazon and LG has wasted my time, money, and peace of mind. I strongly advise potential buyers to think twice before purchasing this product and be aware of its service center replacement-only policy. This process is still ongoing, and I will update this review with further developments.

Competitive price because of a panel with compromises
Due to the current unavailability of the (also significantly more expensive) LG 43UN700-B, I had purchased four of these (LG 43SQ700S) for office use at a client site. I'm writing this review after 2 months of daily use for software development in single as well as dual screen setups. The LG 43SQ700S is pretty nice Smart TV / monitor with decent capabilities, a very competitive price tag, and few compromises. The key features are: 43″ 4K (3840×2160) monitor with Built-in USB hub, USB-C input w/ 60W power delivery, 2×HDMI input, built-in Ethernet (RJ-45) and WiFi to connect the monitor itself, Smart TV features like Netflix and other Apps (WebOS), plus a remote. The stand supports a bit of swivel but no pivot or height adjustment. The LG 43SQ700S comes with a power cord, a USB-C cable, and an HDMI cable. In India, although technically not needed, the power plug of the power cord is a 16A plug, not a 6A plug. Out of the box, you will most likely not be able to use this and need to order a 6A power plug cable separately. The assembly is simple, super-easy and can be done by a single person. Assembling the stand from its two pieces requires three screws (included) and a screwdriver (not included). There's a trick for putting the monitor on the stand: Hold the monitor facing away from you, that is, the back towards you, and the stand between you and the monitor. In other words, assemble the monitor from its backside. Then it's super easy to put the monitor on the stand. The built-in speakers are okay-ish. They're good enough to hear people clearly on video calls, or watching the occasional video. When playing music, you can clearly hear the limits of small built-in speakers like this. There's nothing wrong with that, it's just something a buyer should be aware of.The picture-in-picture capabilities are limited to an input plus a SmartTV App.The USB-C power delivery does NOT work with a Raspberry Pi 5. This, however, is not the fault of the TV but the Raspberry Pi. Sadly, the Raspberry Pi is very picky about its power supply, and this TV won't work. However, the power delivery works just fine with, for example, an Apple MacBook Pro (M2 Max), and that's super convenient: Just one cable to connect the entire desk (or two in case of a dual-screen setup). Now to the most important and most critical part: The panel. The panel is the compromise that gives the monitor its competitive price tag. The panel does not have anti-glare, nor does this panel have an optimized wide viewing angle. The blue light filter capabilities are also limited. This has several consequences. The glare of the panel causes ceiling and window light to be reflected in ways that make the screen content difficult to read. The limited viewing angle means that a dual-screen setup with two LG 43SQ700S isn't fully functional. Depending on the seating position, the contents of the far edge of the screen will degrade in contrast, brightness, and color accuracy. Contrast this with, say, the LG 43UN700-B that has an anti-glare panel and a viewing angle of 178° and thus has no light reflections and performs perfectly well even in dual or triple monitor setups.Overall, the LG 43SQ700S is a nice, well-built, quality device. But buyers need to be aware that its competitive price tag is achieved with compromises on the panel, and these compromises can, depending on use case and lighting conditions, degrade your experience with this monitor.
