I am soo happy with my purchase! I am a first time learner. I love the portable set up to keep it safe. I appreciate all the accessories with comes with and especially the notes stickers. Better than expected. Beautiful, well made, came out of container in tune. Its tone is beautiful. And it’s easy to play . I listened to tones and reviews here and on YouTube. This choice was a surprise. Both in 21 keys and solid wood. I’m very very pleased. May purchase the 17 in a few months.

It plays like it looks, beautifully. Perfect tune out the box, good weight, solid tines, it's my goto kalimba and i have 7.

I bought a Kalimba previously but this one is much better. The tins are twice as thick as my previous one and this one is actually made of solid, quality wood. It does require initial tuning but that's easy enough using an app. After tuning, it sounds incredible. The sound is full and rich versus the previous I got which sounded tinny. It's 100% worth the money compared to cheaper one.

I did not receive the designated black stickers that should have been included with this package. The instrument sounds beautiful but having those stickers not be included in the package was annoying which is why I only gave it four stars.

I love the sound of a quality Kalimba. It's soothing, calming and puts me in a peaceful and happy state. I looked long and hard for a 17 key kalimba. I wanted a solid board because of the superior tonality vs the box. I also didn't care about the price because sound quality was more important and none of them really break the bank. After a lot of listening to different kalimbas it came down to this one(Ling ting) and a Gecko. I noticed in a couple videos the higher keys in the gecko sounded a little "plinky" so I decided to go with this Ling Ting. I am so happy I did. Every key sounds beautiful and the quality is flawless. It has excellent quality control as the keys are all on the same level with each other(see picture) which I find to be extremely important to play well. I've been playing every day for the past couple weeks and it has brought me great joy. I highly recommend this kalimba. I got the K17A.It takes patience and practice to learn to play well, but soon you will produce beautiful music. The downside is that you really need to play with your thumb nails and if they are very short like mine, that can be challenging especially if you chip one. I wish someone would engineer a thumb pick for the kalimba, in my case big ones for guys, that worked well. The silicone picks are a joke. The silicone renders an poor sound and are very uncomfortable. Anyhow, I don't blame the kalimba for this. This is a great Kalimba and I'm sure you will love it as I do.Ps. Wonderful instrument and affordable. Comes with strong complimentary items for beginners like key stickers. Looks beautiful and feels beautiful in the hand.
