Works great with Raspberry Pi 5 and Pi M.2 HAT+
Bought this to use with a Raspberry Pi 5 and the Pi M.2 HAT+ (the official one). Works perfectly. With the latest firmware / EEPROM updates, it's just a matter of holding shift after powering on, booting from network, and installing directly to the nvme. No need for an SD card.Speed is incredibly quick. The first benchmark is my microSD card on the Pi5. The 2nd is this nvme at PCI-E 2.0, and the 3rd is after enabling PCI-E 3.0 on the Pi.$ sudo hdparm -t --direct /dev/mmcblk0/dev/mmcblk0:Timing O_DIRECT disk reads: 254 MB in 3.00 seconds = 84.57 MB/sec$ sudo hdparm -t --direct /dev/nvme0n1/dev/nvme0n1:Timing O_DIRECT disk reads: 1262 MB in 3.00 seconds = 420.25 MB/sec$ sudo hdparm -t --direct /dev/nvme0n1/dev/nvme0n1:Timing O_DIRECT disk reads: 2450 MB in 3.00 seconds = 816.19 MB/secThe single best upgrade that can be done for the Pi5. If I were buying for my high end PC, I'd go with a higher performance, main brand drive, but for a Pi, this is perfect.

Great drive!
I used this to replace an m.2 SATA drive that came in a mini PC I recently bought, and it works perfectly. It's more than triple the speed of the drive that was in it, making the unit more responsive. I wasn't familiar with the brand, but due to the low price compared to bigger names I gave it a try, and I'm glad I did.Definitely worth it.

One out of the three I purchased had been opened and formatted
Expected three new drives, but one had been opened and formatted. Not a complete chore to delete partitions and reformat, but my trust in that drive is diminished. To be fair, the seller did not repackage it in a way to hide the fact that it had been opened and used. I did not reach out to the seller on this because I chose to keep it. But at the end of the day, if I pay for new, I expect new.That mistake was egregious enough to deserve this poor rating, but if that hadn't happened, I'd have given it the full five stars. The two new ones are working great on my raspberry pi hats, and I'm using this "soiled" one one in a thumb drive for now.

Good SSD
Very good 512GB M.2 2242 SSD that has all the storage I need. So far it seems like it will fit my needs. It is easy to install and the fit is perfect. Shipping and delivery were very fast with Amazon Prime.
