I’ve had the Govee Curtain Lights installed in my basement den for about a year now, and they continue to be one of the most eye-catching parts of my entire Govee setup—and that’s saying something, since this room is already decked out with a bunch of their LED strips, wall lights, and rope lights. The curtain lights bring a different kind of wow factor, and even after months of use, they still grab my attention every time I walk into the room.First off, the design is beautiful. It’s not just a string of lights hanging down—these are full, flowing curtains of light that can animate, shift color, and respond to sound. When they’re turned on, they create a soft, ambient glow that instantly changes the mood of the room. When they’re in motion, they can do anything from a slow color fade to an energetic pulse that makes the entire wall feel alive.Installation was simple. The curtain is lightweight, and it only took a few minutes to hang using the included hooks and adhesive. Once it was in place, it looked fantastic—even when turned off, it adds a nice texture to the wall. But once you power it up, that’s when the magic happens.The Govee app gives you full control over everything. There are tons of preset scenes—some relaxing, some lively—and I’ve created a few of my own using the DIY mode. You can choose specific colors for different parts of the curtain, set up moving patterns, and adjust brightness and speed with ease. It’s the kind of customization you’d expect from high-end smart lighting, but at a way more accessible price point.The curtain lights also sync with music, and that feature works better than I expected. I’ve used them during game nights, movie marathons, and even just to relax with some background music, and they always add something extra. The lights respond to rhythm and volume in a dynamic way without feeling chaotic or random. It’s a fun feature that doesn’t get old.One thing I really appreciate is how reliable they’ve been. A year in, I haven’t had a single issue. No connectivity problems, no dead pixels, no sagging or slipping. They’re still just as bright and responsive as they were the first day I set them up. I have bought lots of products from Govee to deck out my office in some colorful lights but this thing is the absolute best, the colors are so rich and bright with lots of depth. The wiring itself is sturdy and really high quality wiring so you know it is built to last. The different effects and images are so much fun my friends have a blast when they walk in and see it. Govee's app makes it really easy to program a whole room with different displays and effects I have 9 altogether and they work perfectly in sync.But the main reason I'm writing this review after about 6 months there was a single light that just was shifted just one color off and I was upset that I couldn't troubleshoot it. In app there is a way to request a rapid replacement. I took a picture gave them my order number from my Amazon order even though it was way past the return window it was still on warranty. They responded quickly and replaced the whole item within a few days. That alone is the thing that has made me not just a fan of the Govee brand in general but a super loyal customer. A lot of these things can feel pretty gimmicky or cheap when it comes to colored lights, this is not that at all, and the fact that they have such great customer service makes this a no brainer. Can't recommend these enough!

So.....I ordered 3 sets...... these are so RAD!!!I've been using strictly GOVEE brand for all my projects for the last 7 or so years. I've done the house inside and out, the cars, the backyard, swimming pool, etc.These light curtains are so much fun. I've only had them 2 days and so far they're my new favorite GOVEE product I own.I could go into the many details of these curtains but others have covered most of it and youtube has many videos that explain it all.I have 37 GOVEE products (hopefully real soon an air purifier from Govee as soon as I research all different companies air purifiers) and I love all these GOVEE sets I have.I do have a couple suggestions for these curtains:1. Make the LED beads 1 whole piece that wraps 360° degrees around the hanging wire strands. If they are 1 whole complete360 degree led bead, it'll show your pattern from all angle. The reason I say this is because there is a front and back to these. So these "half" light bead leds can get twisted here and there on the light strands. When I mount all 3 sets to the garage for holiday displays , the wind will blow the hanging light strands around which can make the LED face left,right , or backwards.Other than that, these things ordered 3 sets...... unreal!!These things are a blast.I've been using strictly GOVEE for all my projects. Esta cortina de luces es genial. Las opciones para configurar su iluminación y la opción hasta de colocarle gifs es genial. No lleva cinco estrellas ya que para el precio podría ser un poco más larga. Pero en el resto está bien. Su manejo desde la app es bastante sencillo por lo que configuras lo que quieres y la disfrutas.
