I highly recommend. I’ve used it on our four vehicles 2018 BMW X5, 2013 BMW 535i, 2012 Toyota Highlander, and 2018 Ram Cummins. It diagnosis and allows users to troubleshoot codes by leading you to websites for parts, etc. It allows me to email my report to my BMW mechanic for repairs that I don’t feel comfortable repairing to obtain a preliminary repair estimate. This one frequently updates at no additional charge.

The media could not be loaded. The S800 has worked great for me so far. I've tried it on several of my vehicles and it reports the same codes as other scanners. So, it's not missing anything. It's small and lightweight so perfect to toss in a bag when you need to go. The battery life is pretty good. It does seem to charge while connected to the vehicle, which is awesome, but most people have USB-C cables for their phones so charging it shouldn't be a problem.There are a lot of nice features packed into this unit. The screen is really bright, but dimmable if you're working at night. Quality seems solid. The updates take awhile so set it up when you get it and let it download.It's supposed to have free lifetime updates. So that's pretty sweet.I just used this to help a few friends last week and it really helped track down the problems before they fired the parts cannon.Cool scanner. It's in my go bag.

So far so good. Seems to be very well made. Came fully charged and easy to set up and use. Definitely worth what I paid for it.

Does not work right. Won't stay charged at all. Does not work on a 97 dodge ram 1500. Bought for Christmas for my husband but hadn't been able to use it until now and we are both very disappointed. Would not recommend. Did not come with instructions either.

So I’ve had the opportunity to test this unit along with a no name Amazon $25 unit as well as kingbolens more portable Bluetooth module that runs off an app on the phoneThis module has the ability to clear check engine lights as well as a lot of codes but it won’t clear absolutely everything. The items it can’t clear aren’t necessarily things people need to clear all the time though. You can refer to the list comparison between this unit and higher tier models for a comparison on fault code clearingSpeed wise this is much faster than the Bluetooth module but of course the Bluetooth module gets much more portability in return. When equipped with wifi you can access a lot of information on your fault codes in real time so that’s very helpfulI’ve had the opportunity to use this on:Infiniti g37Nissan 350zAcura rlxAcura rdxHonda crvPerformance was consistent with every car. As a bonus the module will charge itself when plugged into a port so that’s pretty coolOverall I’d recommend this for the guy who likes to work on stuff at home. The price is competitive considering how much comes with it. The Bluetooth module is priced similarly but that’s something I’d recommend moreso as a keep it in the car just in case tool.

Great product for what the pricing is . Its a nice unit that also uses similiar to launch software . Easy to use and already fix what i needed to do on my tacoma . I suggest kingbolen s800 for ur basic diag thats also have extra feature included . and code reader and etc . I can also use this with my other vehicle acura rsx to read code and clear codes .and also to diagnosis both vehicle and more .. buy with confident . This one have few extra than the basic scanners ..

i bought this scanner in Jul 12, 2023 its starting to show it age it slow and it take awhile to load up
