I have a cast iron kettlebell, adjustable kettlebell and a medium sandbag. Since I had leftover sand I figured I would get a kettlebell like this one.This has an inner bag with roll up Velcro. The outer bag has Velcro strips for additional closure. The material is heavy duty material. It has a nice plastic grip for better control than nylon grips.The motion of the kettlebell sandbag is very similar to an iron version. Although the material is lightweight and portable I do not see myself emptying the bag to travel with it. However that is an option if you’re traveling on a plane and hanging out at the beach.I’m very pleased since many sandbag kettlebells don’t hold as much weight. This was a good middle price point for me. Having a bag in a bag is useful to prevent a mess of sand and dust.

The value you get for your money is nice...it doesn't replace the true kettle ball. The handle is too flimsy. However is you aren't bother by that reason, the bag is solid.

People who complain that they’re getting this item and have to fill the bag’s themselves. Stop… it says it on the description. If you’re too lazy to dig up some dirt, go to a gardening store or landscaping company to get sand. You shouldn’t have purchased this. I guarantee you’ll never use it. The product is great. I topped off the 20lb to 27. As well as the 30lb to 35. The dead weight is the same as with a kettle bell. Especially if you live on the 2nd floor structure where you have neighbors below. You purchased this for a reason. Fill it up and use it. Work something other than your daily excuses.

It does what it says, but honestly the thing is pretty huge once it's filled with sand. Not the easiest thing to swing around

I do outdoor workouts with this a few times a week. It has held up well with about 50lbs in it. It is everything that it was advertised to be. Only downside is I wish it came in black. Overall it’s great and compact compared to the larger workout sandbags. I keep it in my truck and it’s there when it’s time to do some workouts.I have had it 3 months and it feels solid.There is no signs of the stitching or handles coming apart.

Loaded the 30lb bag up to 50lbs with pea gravel and have given it a good 100+ throws 15 feet into the air training for strongman and aside from the velcro needing to be re-stuck every once in a while it has held up well. Handle is a bit small but overall great for the price.

I wasn’t aware that I was ordering an empty bag. Where am I supposed to get the weight that goes inside? Lol Not sure what I’m supposed to do here

The product is very made and the handle is big enough for small to medium hands without pinching if used two handed. It was a also a great price for its versatility. You can easily vary the weight and not worry about what ever you use to fill it leaking out. I also like the fact that if it hits me it won’t be an unforgiving steel object.
