I apologize for not writing a review when I first purchased this! I got it for my grandson's 3rd birthday, and he has loved playing with it ever since. His 4th birthday is just around the corner in August. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone with kids aged 3 to 5—it's fantastic!

Great toy but it is a little narrower than the other track that we have that is similar from Walmart! The little cars go smoothly and very fun to see the different ways to assemble it

No written instructions except for a small paper illustration of the large summersaulting flip-flop. It was difficult to glean enough information from the box photo and videos because there were some "nubs" that needed to be shaved off for proper fit and there are delicate tabs that you do not want to break off. You also have to figure out how the directional round-abouts with flippers work. So good luck putting it together but it can be done by the average thinking mom or dad. If we can do it, you can too unless you are low on patience. It took us about 45 minutes to design and assemble our track. No parts were missing or broken. The track "snaps together but is delicate so be careful when pulling apart or putting together. We have it on a table so nobody steps on it. Its not going to last very long if the child crawls across it or stands on it. Our grandson is 3 going on 12 but we do not let him play with the set unsupervised. If you do not expect a lot you will be pleasantly surprised with this set. Our grandson literally plays with this for hours. He does not touch the mini construction vehicles - they are pretty much useless in size/scale and can not work on carpet. A mat is provided and it helps a lot on carpet. We use duplos to make tunnels and buildings like garages, fire departments, etc. He uses some of his hot wheels vehicles when the batteries die on the cars provided...that's another point I should make - you need a small phillips to install double A batteries. There are two cars provided but you should only run one car at a time or the flip-flop gets out of whack. We will likely buy another set to represent a double-lane but like I said, we don't expect a lot out of these. There's a lot of negative points to be made, but its one of the most played with toys he has. so it gets 4 stars and by all rights should only get a three.

The media could not be loaded. My kids (but especially my 3 year old) love this track. We bought 2 so we could make really long roads. It’s always fun to come up with new twists and turns. Sometime we make extra hills for the cars to go over. The cars obviously do best on brand new batteries but still can truck along for a while, even if a little slower, once the juice wears off. I love how easy the track is to snap together and it’s been tough enough that no one has broken a single piece yet.

Just realized the cool little rolling mechanism should make noise, went to unscrew the battery cover to find zero electronics inside. What the heck?! How stupid! Buy something else
