Small size works for scooping and bagging 8oz of coffee
I bought this to use while roasting and bagging coffee. The small size is just big enough to hold 8oz of roasted coffee beans. I set the partially filled scoop on my scale to make sure I have the exact amount of coffee required for a bag then put the hollow handle into the bag and let the beans fill into the bag without making a mess.

The Bare Minimum for the Job
The scoop came with a crack in the funnel portion of the handle. A little super glue fixed that. What's worrying is that the plastic is so thin that such a thing could easily happen. The scoop has a nice design. The flat base is great for using it on my scale. The scoop will do the job if you are careful with it.

Well-made, useful scoop for carrying beans between my kitchen and roasting area, as well as not spilling beans when pouring into a container.I specifically wanted a 1KG scoop. The other company I was aware of that makes a similar product seems only to have a 2KG version.
