Dropped phone and shattered both front and back. My phone screen went dark and I was quoted a few hundred $ to recover data. Put this screen on and I was able to access my phone and back everything up to the cloud. Great quality and very easy to assemble.

I’ve installed many of these screens before, though not this particular one. Installation was very simple. It’s only about 9 screws. All of the connections on this replacement screen fit nice and snug. The ribbon cables clipped in with no issues. I actually used this as a teaching moment for one of my children so they would know how to properly handle electronics, that’s how easy this replacement is.Touch sensitivity was right where it needed to be, there were no dead spots on the screen and it booted first time.Where this screen really shines is that it looks better and sharper than some of the previous replacement screens I’ve used. This has a brightness and resolution much closer to a true Apple replacement. I kept the original screen that was cracked just to have a comparison when I do these replacements. This one is very good and I am very satisfied.One con that I would say for the kit is that it’s less packaging and tools than some of the other ones. A tweezers would be nice, but I didn’t even use one for this job. So I’m not holding it against the seller. You have everything you ‘need’ in the kit. The plastic clamshell that the screen comes in is very sturdy, and feel that it’s more than adequate to protect the screen. It’s a little tricky to separate so be careful you don’t accidentally throw the screen in the process. All in all, did what it needed to do, very happy.

Daughter dropped the phone once with otter box on and the screen went bananas. Didn’t crack but the touchscreen is not responsive and phone is unusable. The ribbon cable was not loose. I checked. I’m guessing the glass and digitizer are not the best quality. Screen shouldn’t wig out after one drop with an otter box case.

This is the second time I purchase a replacement screen and this screen quality is top line, it’s working perfectly with no issues whatsoever. I’ve been using it for a month and I didn’t receive anything from apple about the screen authenticity like I have with the previous one I purchased. Everything on the phone works normal from day one. No one can tell any difference from the original. The colors and the touch are perfect. The provided tools are good quality as well and all screw drivers actually work so you won’t stop and start looking for a screw driver bcs one did not work. They also have included a screen protector and the screen works completely fine when you have a protector on it not like other screens won’t respond with a protector installed.

The screen is of good quality, but the double sided tape that's supposed to hold the screen down, and make the phone water proof, is out right A PIECE OF JUNK!!!!!

I’ve cracked this exact phone 3 times now and replaced it everytime with this screen. I’ve never had any issues with them and they’ve always had the best tool kit. Perfect for an easy at home repair. The replacements are always just as bright as the oem and at such an affordable price. Functional, affordable, perfect fit, and overall just easy.

Everything was there as to be expected. It’s just I haven’t been able to put together yet. It’s way more difficult than I would’ve imagined. The screws are so tiny so so tiny that you can’t even see him almost with your eyes and I got 2020 vision so other than that if I get it working, it’s a great deal.
