This Vekkia neck reading light has quickly become one of my favorite little gadgets. I love reading late at night, but I didn’t want to keep disturbing my wife with overhead lights. This light solves that problem perfectly—it’s bright enough for me, but discreet enough not to spill light across the whole room.The 3 brightness levels are just right for different settings, whether I’m reading, doing a bit of writing, or even sorting small items for a project. I also love that the flexible silicone arms let me angle the light exactly where I need it. Super versatile, whether you're reading in bed, crafting, or even walking around in low light.I went with the black version, but it’s great that there are multiple color options for different styles or family members. The ease of use is fantastic—simple buttons, easy to recharge, and no complicated settings. It’s lightweight and comfortable to wear, even for long reading sessions.The durability feels solid too. The silicone coating is smooth and strong, and it doesn’t feel like it’ll wear out anytime soon. For the price, it’s definitely excellent value for money—a small investment that’s made a big difference in my nighttime routine.Highly recommend this to any fellow book lover who doesn’t want to disturb their partner while diving into a good read!

I love the color and the flexible arms. They flex better than another brand I bought and returned. The black ‘arms’ are the perfect length and can be focused in a variety of ways.The lights work well and are also bigger than the other brand I returned.The best part is the smaller, much less cumbersome neckpiece which is where I'm sure the electrical housing is.This little light is perfect! It fits the case. It IS BRIGHT ENOUGH TO BEAD by on a tray. It came with a small charge but took no time to get to full power.The price was good too! Sturdy, and does what I need it to.The upgraded one I returned has an automatic shut-off timed for 30 minutes. That was also a deal breaker for me. If I am beading, or reading, (The light is versatile!) I do not want my light telling ME to take a break. This one DOES NOT do that. No assembly was required! Like I said, it is perfect. My perfect purple beading pal! 💜

This light is far superior to others I have used. It isl ightweight and has three different settings .The lght is comfortable around my neck and very easy to direct the beam of light where I need it. Brightness is great also.

Works well. I use the light for crocheting. Doesn't work quite as well as a head for aiming at what I'm working on but it's a lot better for others in the room. Works better than another neck light I have because it's a lot more flexible. It holds a charge a long time.

This light appears to be decent quality but it just wasn’t quite what I expected I suppose. I will break my thoughts down and you can skip to the parts you want to know about.SIZE: I did not expect this light to be so physically huge. I am not sure why but I just expected it to be smaller and to me this is pretty big (see photos). It’s big but it is still lightweight, so that is great. I just feel kinda silly wearing it because to me it is clunky and silly looking.BRIGHTNESS: As far as people saying this is a great light because you can read in bed while not annoying other people who are trying to sleep...I find that to be next to impossible to believe since even placing just one side on the lowest setting is as bright as the freaking sun and also harsh and cold. Even when only one side is on and is on the lowest setting, this thing lights the whole room up. I don’t see how anyone can think this is a pleasant light to read in or that it would be inoffensive to others or suitable for use in a car (all of which I read in other reviews prior to purchase). I bought this lamp with the intent to use it on an airplane during an upcoming trip, but I would never do that after trying it. It is far too broad and bright for that, which is unfortunate. The whole freaking plane would light up.MULTI-USE: What IS nice is that you can use this light for projects, sewing and crafts, manicures, etc., and you can do so hands-free. I imagine I will use this lamp for those types of things more than I will for reading—it’s great that I can use it for those other tasks since I think it is way too harsh and bright to use for reading. At least it was not a waste of money.COMFORT: It is indeed comfortable to use, even if lying in bed, and pretty easy to position just as you want it, so that is a plus as well. It is also great to not have to adjust the light at all or to have to possibly tear book pages by using the book as a stand for the light to clip to.BOTTOM LINE: If the light weren’t so utterly bright, cold and harsh, I would be able to forgive the chunkiness of the design but it is just way too much for what its intended purpose is, which is to be used as a book light. As a book light, I would not recommend it unless you enjoy having light the power of one thousand suns in your face and want the entire room lit up as well. As a light to use in other projects and to do so hands-free, I would definitely recommend it.
