Great success
This book is possibly life-changing for our teenage grandson who immediately grasped the financial concepts, then invested in a package of clothing that he sold at a healthy profit. Dell Boy junior is hooked.

Good book, I recommend
I bought this for my son and I read sometimes with him or he ask questions which made me curious and I have to read too. Very good book. The English composition is appropriate which makes it easy to understand.

A Great Intro to Financial Basics for Teens – Simple and Practical
I picked up Money Skills for Teens for my teenager, hoping to give them a solid foundation in real-world money management—and overall, it's a great starting point.Pros:Clear and easy to understand: The book breaks down financial concepts like budgeting, saving, credit, and taxes in a way that’s super accessible for teens.Relevant examples: Uses real-life situations teens can relate to, like earning from part-time jobs, spending wisely, and saving for big goals.Encourages smart habits: Emphasizes the importance of saving early, understanding needs vs. wants, and being mindful with money.Good conversation starter: Helped open up some great talks at home about money, responsibility, and planning for the future.Cons:Basic overview: It’s more of a broad introduction than an in-depth guide. Great for beginners, but older teens or financially-savvy readers might find it too simple.Could use more visuals: Charts, diagrams, or budgeting templates would’ve made it even more engaging.Overall, this is a solid, no-nonsense guide for teens who are just starting to learn about personal finance.Great gift for a high schooler or anyone new to money management.

Great book to teens
I was shocked at how little schools teach our kids about the realities of money in the real world. It’s not a surprise when kids ask what’s the point of learning certain things in a maths class when they only get taught a theory and not how that gets applied in terms of mortgages, credit cards and savings. Got this for my teenage nephew and son and both have found it super helpful in understanding the basics.

Wish I had this as a kid
Thank you thank you. You have no idea how long I’ve been looking for something like this. From my experience they just don’t cover this subject in nearly enough detail at school, and kids are entering adult life without this essential life skill… my own son currently thinks money it a ‘tap’ on a machine with a phone (not even a plastic credit card) - immediate and invisible, with no thought to saving or the future. Well written and easy to follow. Highly recommend!!

Really great!
This book is so good. I wish I’d had this advice when I was a teen. My parents weren’t very money savvy and we certainly didn’t get training in school - something that hasn’t changed to this day. I wanted my girls to learn about how to manage money sooner in life than I did so they get a better start. This book is perfect. The right length to keep them interested. Easy to understand and includes all the right messages. My daughter has started writing her CV and looking for part time jobs since reading the book. She’s really motivated!

Present
Bought as a present for my nephew. Not as good quality as I was expecting and felt it could be broken up a bit more to make it a bit more appealing for the target audience. I did also find a typo. However, it contains useful content that will hopefully inspire the recipient from a young age to instill good habits with money.
