Good price, good product.
Although it arrived well packed, when I was putting it up, I realised that it was slightly kinked.I persevered (slightly damaging the wall-completely MY FAULT ) I'm pleased with the end result.Just what I wanted (minus the mark on wall). Not sellers fault,I could of sent it back. All in all, I'm pleased that I have it. Quality of the material of it is good and it looks stylish.Would recommend.

Wraps all the way around, keeps light from coming through curtains
Impressed with this curtain rod. It's easy to install, and it really allows the curtain to hug the wall so that no light can get through.Just remember to slide your curtain all the way around to where the rod goes against the wall. If you still have light going through (maybe your curtain does stay flat against the wall? Put a small piece of tape on that part of the curtain to hold it down. No one will see it. *I didn't have to do that, but my cousin did and it worked for her.Great value, stylish, does the job, and a real nice finish on it.

Easy to use - recommended
I purchased a dozen of the Umbra Twilight Room Darkening Curtain Rods. They arrived well packaged and on time as expected. They were easy to install and sturdy for heavy black-out curtains. I used the center support on every one, regardless of the window width. The wrap-around effect on the ends looks sleek and functions well to block light. As my curtains need frequently changed, my favorite part of the rod design is the simple ease of sliding the rod off of and back on to the wall hardware, where it is securely seated.

No need to look elsewhere.
I absolutely LOVE the mounting choice of this curtain rod. I had two windows on the same wall about 6' apart. All I did was mount a laser level to the wall and install the four brackets where I wanted them. Then simply slide the rod over-top the metal 'studs' and I was done! -Easiest install I've ever had and much better than those cheap rods with the sheet-metal daggers sticking out from the wall lol.Just like pretty much every curtain-rod, it's a hollow metal tube with a hollow metal that slides into it. However it's definitely much sturdier than anything I've seen at this size. There's no bowing/flexing and I'm using them at 1.5" their max spread. The rod can be easily unmounted by just pushing up on it rather than tilting it 45degrees while lifting like on the cheaper mounts. The brackets on the sides of the rod swivel, so if you want to change curtains you can unhook one-side and slide the curtain off/on if this is something that would benefit you.I also greatly appreciate the wrap-around design since I wanted to use blackout curtains. The allow the curtain to be flush with the wall on the sides so there's no light leakage.Overall I've extremely satisfied and immediately ordered another one for a third window of which I just finished installing. ^_^-I honestly don't have a single gripe about these. The only thing I'll say is that if you are someone suffering from arthritis, the packaging will be difficult to open in the 'normal' way. The box uses three interlocking cardboard dove-tails that are very tight, the tape added is completely unnecessary for how well it keeps the box closed. I'd recommend cutting one of the sides and pulling it out that way, otherwise cut through all of the dove-tails to open it the 'intended' way.
