By no means Pioneer quality, but if you want simple play and scan are pretty decent.When loading the CD the first time you press play on Track 1 it skips a few milliseconds. You have to press again to play the track. Only happens when you first load. Then okNice display, LCD is clear and all functions work well with soft pad feel

I had the previous model I found it really easy to work I sadly sold it last year I wish I hadn’t sold it for me I could afford to get another one

Sound quality

When I received this (last October) I had to write to the seller because one of the trays would not read any cd's. I had a spare connection lead to link the two units which sorted the problem. I used it on one occasion to perform at an engagement it seemed to work fine. I put it away for a couple of months (all racked up). When I got it out again for another engagement I found the same problem was back again. I swapped the connection lead for a replacement but to no avail? A total waste of money!!! (Only my opinion.)
