I got this Bonsai Fertilizer| All Purpose| Quick Release for Instant Results |Micro Nutrients Vital for Bonsai Health| The Bonsai Supply (Organic Fertilizer 3LBS) in a little while ago and this stuff works really good.This comes in a plastic container that’s made with thick plastic and a screw off/on lid, it’s very sturdy. The fertilizer is granules that’s are loose and easily scooped out. I really like that they took the time to put instructions on the side of the container for how much to use. It’sone tsp per four inch length of pot. I just used a disposable plastic spoon I had to measure it out. After I put the fertilizer on I let my bonsai tree seat in some water for a hour or so to help the fertilizer soak into the dirt. I’ve also used this on a few other house plants as well and it seems to have helped them as too.Overall this is good fertilizer. My bonsai tree wasn’t looking great after the winter months and this has help perk it up.I would recommend this

This is a nice bucket of pellet fertilizers. I did use this for a crape myrtle I'm shaping to be a bonsai tree, but I've applied some to my Hindu rope knot. I watered the plants a bit to soak in the fertilizer. These are supposed to last 30-45 days, which is longer than water-soluble fertilizers, but not as long-lasting as other granule fertilizers.I thought this serves as a good general fertilizer. The ingredients include feather meal, meat and bone meal, blood meal, and langbeinite (potassium magnesium sulfate mineral for even distribution of nutrients) and no other unknown or questionable ingredients.The price is a bit higher than what I usually purchase for my other houseplants, but it is cheaper than buying a bone meal, blood meal, or other fertilizer ingredients separately, especially when I can't determine what is lacking in the plant.My bonsai and my rope knot have both suffered some stunted growth. I can't say that this fertilizer is the answer yet, but all other methods I've tried to promote growth have been failing. So I hope this will help the plants establish better root systems and improve their health of the plants.

At this point, we haven't had time to tell how well this fertilizer nourishes bonsai plants. The fertilizer comes in a tightly sealed plastic jar to keep it fresh. Not a lot is used at one time on any single bonsai planting, so even with several plants, this jar will last a long time. The jar is a nice, easy to handle size and the tightly sealing lid should keep the fertilizer fresh.Be careful when opening the lid of the jar. The first time I opened it, some of the fertilizer must have stuck to the lid with static electricity and I ended up with a slight mess on the table. It was easily cleaned up because the fertilizer pellets are dry, but avoid the mess it possible.

My wife has several types of bonsai which seem to be very happy with this easy-to-use fertilizer. They are not the only plants that are happy. I have a plant . . . not sure what it is . . . that I forgot to water for several days after its time and also have never fertilized in over a year of having it. It is very happy to get nutrients along with water. Compared to another time I forgot to water for about the same length of time it appears to be recovering faster.It does seem a bit expensive although purchasing mixture separately or a few other fertilizers are more. As they say though, you get what you pay for and so far this is living up to the extra price.

I just ordered this bonsai fertilizer and applied it as directed to my little bonsai. It was very easy to use and the container it came in is sturdy and opened without difficulty. It is too early for me to know its impact on my bonsai but I know that it is important to fertilize, given the relatively small amount of soil for the tree to draw on. Thus, I'm glad it was simple to use, i.e. no mixing. Just apply to the top of the soil and water. I will edit this review if there is a negative outcome but I'm giving 5 stars as it appears to be a good product. It is a bit pricey but quality doesn't come cheap.

This is a little confusing with the intent of this fertilizer. I understand that it's good for bonsai trees with the specific NPK 8-3-5 ratio of nitrogen-phosphorus-potassium. But they claim it's all-purpose and then just claim that it's good for all types of bonsai trees (as opposed to ALL trees). I put this stuff in a lot of different places and it seems that the tomatoes didn't like it but that could be a coincidence because I also made them endure in the cold. It's very expensive (supposedly because it's organic and everything labeled organic is 30% more expensive), and I don't see the benefit of going with cheaper stuff. It's important to fertilize, but I don't know the real benefit of going with this over Miracle grow or whatever.

This organic fertilizer for Bonsai trees can be used for many different types of plants and trees. I have multiple plants both indoors and outdoors. The outdoor perennial plants are just starting to come up, so this fertilizer is going to be applied in the next couple of weeks. I have fertilized all of my indoors plants with this fertilizer, and they are responding well already. I like that I only need to apply this fertilizer every 4 weeks. It is easy to use, and is well balanced nutrition to properly feed my plants.
