I have an old shop building that has 2 persistent leaks that I haven't been able to eliminate. They only come once every few years and the last time it was while we were away on a trip. These will allow me to set up a diverted and save me from returning home to a flooded shop.

This tarp system was easy to install. I spaced some hooks in my ceiling, so when this was hung it would dip in the center. I found that the still sides hung flat so I had to use the middle edge grommets to create a well, though it was still not as pictured. However, It did work channeling water to the center during a storm. We are about to start roof repairs but needed an easy stop gap, and the roof is high and steeply sloped, so access is dangerous unless a pro. This allowed us to at least catch the water coming inside and channel it to a bucket with the included hose. I found the price to be steep for what you get ($34.0 dollars day of review). However, considering the cost savings to furniture, electronics, floors, etc, could be several thousand dollars, it is well worth the price so 4 stars for working.

This thing is pretty easy to install and great.

This kit comes with everything I wish I had when my roof first started leaking - solid tarp to catch and direct the water; built in drainage hole with grommet to attach a hose to, and the hose to attach that's more than long enough for any space I could imagine needing this for. Also has things to hang the tarp from if needed opposed to attaching the tarp to your ceiling.The grommet and hose are removable from the tarp pretty easily and work well on their own too. I had a pre-existing leak that I had plastic up to contain and it was easy to poke a hole and attach the grommet and hose to the plastic. The leak quickly and easily drains into a bucket now so I don't have to worry about water building up in the plastic anymore.The tarp is good and thick and aside from the hole for the grommet I could use it as a normal tarp comfortably.I really love everything about this kit and really recommend it for any homeowner to have on hand if a leak ever breaks out from your roof or plumbing or the like.

This is a well made cavass style tarp. It works perfectly for funneling any water into a hose. It stands up to use with the metal covered grommets

I've been dealing with a roof leak for the past couple of months and I finally got it repaired and this prompted me to purchase this item because you just never know when you're going to have to deal with water coming from your ceiling. It was a nightmare trying to collect the water and make sure it's not running somewhere else. Now I have this where I can help to navigate where the water will go using the included tube so it can go out the window or maybe even in a bucket I get to dictate that and I have more control versus before having the water just go into every little crevice and make a headache for me to clean it all up.
