Lasts six to seven months
Cable is fine in terms of sound but after 6-7 months of light use at home it began to cut out . No heavy use or knocks so really just down the quality of the product . Disappointing and wouldn’t recommend this itemEdit: I’m upgrading this review because d’addarios customer service is frankly excellent. Contacted them about the cable and they were happy to send a replacement. Simply needed an invoice and evidence of destruction. Will see how this one goes but impressed with the company

Best all round cable.
After using Fender 'California series' cables, Fender custom shop tweed cables and various other cables that broke easily, I bought these cables as the reviews were good. And these are fantastic cables. No noise interference, great shielding low capacitance so all the tone and dynamic of the sound is transmitted whereas cheaper cables lose the sound. Other cables also have lots of background noise whereas these have none even when using headphones it's unnoticeable. I use a 50's classic telecaster and an Orange micro terror and once using these cables the difference is staggering compared to Fender cables.
