Very convenient but loses connection after the laptop sleeps for a while (2020 Macbook Pro M1)
Overall, it's great to not have lots of cables trailing out of my MacBook Pro. Just one cable makes my desk a lot tidier and connecting / reconnecting a nicer experience. I am running a 24" and 32" monitor from this unit and it works really well. No noticeable lag and the resolutions / quality of the images are good.I wish it had a headphone socket for my external speakers. The one issue I am experiencing is that if the laptop sleeps for a little while (5 minutes+) then the laptop stops registering that it is connected. This is a problem as well because I have my Time Machine connected via this unit, so it thinks i am unplugging it without disconnecting first. I have to plug the unit back in to the laptop for it to reconnect. I have contacted support today for a resolution to this issue. Hopefully it's a simple one. With this resolved, it's 5 stars in my opinion.

8 day Review (Mac Tested) workflow Impacted
After searching hard for a way to connect two monitors, I came across this device.1. It supports dual screen (as separate displays)That’s all the good thingsNow on to the bad1. It uses window drives natively for MacThis is a problem as logic, final cut. & any other graphical program with visual effects or high detail images. Freeze the displayport cannot resize windows properly. It will freeze and become unresponsive. I’ve looked on forums contacted the customer support and they cannot understand the issue2. The power pass though is letting off a buzzing sound. Which indicates a bad power source within the circuitry . I am using an original Mac charger usb c to power the dock so that shouldn’t be an issue.the computer now seems to have an electric sound emitting from the speakers. So I opted to use the dock without power3. When the dock is plugged in the Mac becomes very hungry for energy as if the drivers are overworking the laptop to display separate desktops. When the dock is unplugged the mac works as intended this has been tested on 3 different Mac machines 2017-2020-2022 models all with the same issueIf your a Mac user don’t waste your moneyAfter doing research your best bet is investing in a Thunderbolt 3 or 4 dock with the correct features that are plug and play. Don’t waste your time. Like I wasted 8 days of mine.
