We have tried so many shampoos for over 50 years now (even in 1976 I tried “Gee Your Hair Smells Terrific “ LOL) that have not compared to this shampoo and conditioner. The shampoo has stimulated and nourished our hair that there is hardly any hair in the shower strainer (prior my wife and I noticed quite a bit of twice weekly hair loss). After using the shampoo/cream rinse for 8 weeks my hair felt softer, slightly thicker (I have fine hair), and less hair loss (wow). The cream rinse bar is also the best as I have always had an issue with cream rinses that would leave my hair oily and I didn’t like the feel of that. This allows me to dry and run a brush through no problem, and didn’t leave my hair feeling oily at all! We have recommended this product to our Family as we are very happy with the shampoo and cream rinse bars!!!

I shop on Amazon very frequently and never write reviews, however this product DESERVES PRAISE !I got into watching that “blow out professor” on YouTube a couple years ago because he does have some great tips, but he convinced me that my drug store shampoo/conditioners were trash and to switch to Redken Volume Injection. Not only is it very expensive, but I didn’t realize for way too long the damage that it was doing to my scalp. Burning, itching, flaking, ect. He also convinced me to wet brush my hair which I wasnt doing before, so I wasn’t sure if the shedding was from product or wet brushing. When I finally realized the burning of my scalp wasn’t normal I made the switch to Prose because of all their “healthy Ingredients” and “customized for you” promotions. I was desperate for a healthy feeling scalp so I bought into it. My hair starting FALLING OUT IN CLUMPS and my scalp didn’t feel any better. The moment I switched back to what redken I had left the shedding severely slowed down but I still needed to get off of that stuff.THEN I FOUND KITSCH <3Immediately the hair shedding went down SO MUCH! Like to 2-3 hairs in a shower, my scalp is feeling good again! I forgot the feeling of a healthy scalp until a few uses after this amazing bar shampoo/ conditioner. My hair feels soft and light again. Not loaded down with a waxy heavy feeling that the redken left. I adore the smell too, it doesn’t smell like some artificial additive like sooo many other shampoos do. Thanks for existing Kitsch. My husband and I are hooked.

Excellent travel kit. The shampoo and conditioner leave hair soft and full of volume, and the collagen mask deeply repairs it. Perfect for dry or damaged hair and very practical to pack in your suitcase. Highly recommended!

I think this is a nice product, it does lather and smells good, my hair felt clean and soft. Downside is when you have used it several times it breaks in half ( or becomes soft) and you have to use the smaller pieces in your hair and with long hair it becomes a struggle. I have it a four because it does the job but I probably wouldn’t buy again.

I love the kitsch bar shampoo and conditioner. I tried the biotin bars first and now these protein bars. I was reluctant to try a bar shampoo and conditioner but was pleasantly impressed! My beautician commented on how soft and luxurious my hair had become from my previous appointment 8 weeks prior. My only change was using these bars! I would recommend getting the bar bags too, when the bars get smaller they are harder to use. With the bag they still soap up nicely shampoo wise. The conditioner doesn’t soap up per se but you can feel it in your hair. I love how these products changed the condition of my hair. I just ordered more bars plus I ordered the bar body wash. They are a bit pricey but with the bags there’s no waste. You don’t need a lot per wash either. I actually got more uses out of these bars than 20 ounce bottles of liquid shampoo and conditioner. They smell amazing too. I have short hair however and don’t need a lot of product. They are easy to use just swipe the bar down your wet hair once or twice and massage your scalp and you will have loads of suds.

This was recommended to me when I saw a co workers hair and commented about how gorgeous her hair looked!! I was skeptical about a bar soap shampoo, but after one wash I was IN LOVE!!! My hair is so clean and shiny and soft as silk!!! The shampoo lathers better than my bottle shampoos and the conditioner works fantastic!! Highly recommend!

I waited until I had a few washes in to make a review, and the results are in: it’s good!I’ve been trying to find a shampoo that meets a few specific requirements, which is easier said than done. One, it must make my coarse and unruly mane of hair less of a hassle to manage. Two, it must not interfere with my ongoing issues of shedding and scalp irritation. Three, I don’t want to contribute more to landfill waste than absolutely necessary. Four, it needs to clean my hair well without relying on harsh chemicals that irritate my scalp.Yes yes, I know, I’m picky and sensitive about my hair products. But these bars meet 3.5 out of 4 of my needs (we’ll get to that half-point). The shampoo and conditioner are both great. The shampoo lathers and cleans like a liquid shampoo, and the conditioner applies easily and leaves my hair silky, stronger, and full of volume. Point one, check. It also doesn’t seem to irritate my scalp or contribute to shedding. Point two, check.The paper packaging is fantastic… though I’m not a fan of the bars themselves being wrapped in plastic sleeves that aren’t recyclable. Modern Mammals manages to use only cardboard packaging, so I don’t see why that’s not possible here. Still, it’s less plastic than a full bottle, so I’ll give it half a check.Fourth and final point; no harsh chemicals. It scored an 86/100 (“Excellent”) on Yuka, so that’s a check!I’ve tried other bar shampoos before, and they either fall apart too quickly or don’t lather or clean well (Modern Mammals, unfortunately, had both of those problems). So far, that’s not the case here. These bars are sturdy and hold up well to thick hair. Plus, they’re budget-friendly compared to liquid shampoo.I just wish they didn’t use plastic in the packaging, but otherwise, great product!
