I recently acquired the QNAP TS-364-US, and I must say it has exceeded my expectations in terms of both performance and flexibility. One notable feature that caught my attention is the manufacturer's recommendation for a maximum of 16GB RAM. However, I decided to push the boundaries a bit and upgraded it to a whopping 64GB RAM, and to my delight, the TS-364-US handled it with ease, showcasing its remarkable scalability.Memory Upgrade:The official recommendation of 16GB didn't deter me, and I opted for a 64GB RAM upgrade. The TS-364-US proved its resilience by seamlessly accommodating the increased memory, contributing to an enhanced multitasking capability and overall system responsiveness.Storage Configuration:For storage, I opted to take advantage of the unit's flexibility and expanded it to meet my specific needs. I upgraded to 2 x M.2 2TB each (cache R/W), providing lightning-fast data access, and supplemented this with 3 HDDs, each boasting an impressive 20TB capacity and coupled with ZFS. I'm not a fan of this NAS.I bought it to back up my pictures, but it's been challenging to sync it with my computer folders.I have to admit, I'm disappointed with the experience.
