Brilliant!
A must for sewers! It doesn't matter if it's quilting you're into or just simply need to cut/mark fabric, this ruler makes it so easy to work with. No slipping, no constant checking if it's aligned correctly, especially if you're using a cutting mat.My old ruler, which was quite a pricey one, was a nightmare to work with. I don't know how many times it slipped when I cut fabric that was longer than 10". I automatically pressed harder, on the ruler itself as well as the rotary cutter which ultimately lead to even more frustration when it still slipped because I had to reposition my hand to cut the end of the fabric. It came to a point where I dreaded cutting or marking the fabric, going as slow as possible. This ruler is sturdy and thick without being heavy. Sewing is not a cheap hobby. I've learned the hard way to buy quality (pricier) tools.I'm not being paid or rewarded in any kind by saying this, but Amazon is by far the cheapest option that I've come across. I saw the same ruler yesterday at a fabric shop for £10 more than the price here.I'll buy the smaller version to work with smaller pieces of fabric, and I'm not a quilter by the way.

Ideal equipment for patchwork measuring and non slip cutting material.
Have just started patchwork and bought the Prym omnigrip ruler. Ideal for my use and now that I have it I use it for measuring a lot of my sewing requisite.

Invaluable!
Didn't take as long to arrive as I expected (it came from America so expected three or four weeks but it was here within a couple of weeks). Very competitively priced. I've just started sewing and I've found this invaluable so far - I've used it for so many things: making strips for bias binding, drawing my own patterns, measuring and marking seams. Makes marking parallel lines or perpendicular lines on paper/fabric so easy. Just note that the markings are imperial (inches) and not centimetres.

Excellent. Doesn't move ideal for patch work. Others I've had over the past 2 years have slipped when I cut the material hence I got the wrong size. I definitely would recommend this ruler. Although it is 24 ins long and 6 ins wide the box was about 30 ins long and 20 wide full of paper but the ruler still was sliding around inside. What a waste of packaging!
