Very attractive and functional addition to the bookshelf in your Home Office or Den.
After seeing so many negative reviews for other inexpensive bookshelf systems, this one caught my eye. Even though it is apparently a new product and had no reviews, I took a chance and ordered it and am glad I did. In addition to being attractive, the unit seems sturdy and well built. It has very decent volume for an inexpensive system.Yay!: (1) - dead simple to set up and get working. (2) - very well packed for shipment. (3) - The easy to understand Instructions are written in American English (don't see that too much any more!) (4) - While the sound won't fill a concert hall, it will fill your living room; maximum volume is really quite loud and distortion free. (5) - The old fashioned backlit analog VU meters are a nice touch. (6) - The headphone jack is on the front of the unit. (7) - Easy setup for the Bluetooth input. (8) - Horizontal tray style slide out CD holder; I really dislike those vertical loaders that come on a lot of DVD / CD players that require 2 hands to load.Boo!: (1) - Brick style power supply that may block one of your electrical outlets (2) - Incomplete instructions for setting the clock - the secret: the Power must be "off" to set the clock.Meh (not a big deal): (1) Speaker cords are pretty short so you'll need to put the speakers close to the unit; supplemental "yay" - the speaker cords are not hardwired to the unit or the speakers, so they are easily replaceable with standard speaker wire so you can move the speakers elsewhere in the room. (2) - The "Product Description" states the unit has RCA output jacks - it does not have RCA jacks. I have sent a message to Amazon about this. (3) - Petty gripe here: Why can't an "On / Off" switch be labelled "On / Off" or simply "Power"? They all seem to labelled "Standby" these days (including this unit). (4) - other than to make sure it works, I haven't really used the remote. And the remote doesn't come with batteries - you'll have to supply your own 2 AAA batteries. This is a nice looking and nice sounding system which will be an attractive addition to your Home Office, or anywhere you choose to put it.

Disappointed
Could not hook up with my turntable. Looks nice with great lighting, but kind of useless for my audio room. Moved it to the TV room for the radio effect. It looks and play great there.

Sweet
Great sound for 50 watts. I'm surprised how well the antenna receives public radio stations I couldn't get, big sound for a tiny unit and my turntable plugs in, Bluetooth, so my ear buds and wireless headphones work. I looked at lots of tiny units before deciding on this one. Works for me and my Talking Heads vinyl sounds awesome. Good player for this 67 year old that is not interested in spending thousands on systems anymore.

Blue tooth delays
I went through 2 TVs because the sound was out of synch with the picture. Turns out it was this unit. One smart TV had an audio adjustment for blue tooth delay and I still couldn't get the sound in synch. I then tried another TV - a non-smart TV and still not in synch. Both TVs, I tried to use the headphone out into the AUX of the RCA and still a delay. When I hooked a vintage RCA Dimensia integrated amp from the 80's everything was in synch. This Victor is headed to the Goodwill, but I am keeping the speakers. They seem to do fine. I have a surround sound system in my family room and it's all old school wired and all is in synch. I don't know about this Bluetooth stuff - are others having delay issues?

What a piece of CRAP
This product I bought, thinking of BECAUSE MADE IN AMERICA would be better; turned out to be a piece of DISPOSABLE PLASTIC! Within the first week, one of my CD's got stuck in the inside track of the loading plate!!! I had to break the damned thing to get the cd out. So, I guess what you're going to tell me is that I did something wrong with it!?!?

Nice
I like it my only gripe is the cd player doesn't read any of my CDs.i would also find some bigger speakers I had some laying around and they work better.i do really like the Bluetooth though it gets the job done.

Squeal in the speakers
Loved the size and easy to use but the sound was not good. The squeal from the speakers had me boxing it back and returning it.
