A versatile, high quality projector
For my use case, I was willing to sacrifice brightness for flexibility. This unit is quiet, has good build, great picture, easy to use. Flexible is the key word. You're going to sacrifice some brightness for portability. You have to realize if you have a more powerful bright unit. It's energy consumption is going to go way up. It's going to be loud and it's going to have noticeable hot exhaust. For me I would rather have quiet and portable over bright, because I'm never going to mount the unit and dedicate a power supply. There are plenty of ways to get a signal, HDMI in mirroring, on board apps. I tested and tried four separate units before deciding. This was the one for me. Make sure you use with at least a portable white screen. They come as cheap as 15.

Worth It.
Super impressed. This is bright enough that you can see it even with the lights on. It has plenty of settings to ensure the best possible experience, including settings for different colors of screens (or wallpaper). Fits on a standard tripod mount. It charges off of high power USB-C (like most newer laptops). You can charge it off of standard USB-C as long as it remains off (otherwise it just drains slower). It has both chromecast, and android TV, so if you like netflix, hulu, etc, or tend to stream things from your phone, you dont really need the HDMI port much. The image quality is amazing, The sound is pretty good, and it has really good volume, but it feels like it falls a little short compared to the video quality. it does have a speaker out port, so you can push the sound to something better if you prefer. I will mention that this is now my primary projector out of 3. I use this on the go, and I like it better than my regular sized model, so I use this at home for pretty much everything as well. It does have a little bit of heft to it, but its not super heavy. Fits on a standard camera/smartphone mount, just make sure that it has a wide base, and that the bolt can support the heavier weight. I was a bit on the fence when I was considering getting this, because this is the most expensive projector I own, but it is well worth the price.

Worth every penny.
The portability, brightness, compatibility with either phone or laptop and battery life are all great reasons to buy this projector. First time I used it was at an election viewing party where we projected onto a 10' x 10' screen and ran the sound through a PA. It performed like a champ. I especially love how simple it is to focus compared to less-expensive projectors I've used. This baby is totally worth the money. You will look like a champ when you show up with it.

[DO NOT BUY] Unreliable Wireless connection.
The picture quality of this projector was fantastic—definitely a 10/10. Unfortunately, the software was a nightmare and completely ruined my camping night. The unreliable Wi-Fi module was a huge disappointment. Plus, the lack of a USB-A port meant I couldn’t pre-load any movies. I ended up using my iPhone’s hotspot to stream, but the projector’s Wi-Fi kept dropping out every 10-20 minutes, even though my hotspot was working fine. I had to keep reconnecting, which drained my battery and cut into our movie time.To make matters worse, the projector died just 15 minutes before the movie ended, leaving us to finish watching on our phones.[Movie was 1hr 40min]Next time, I’ll go with an older projector that lets me pre-load movies on USB drive instead of relying on a flaky wireless connection. Lesson learned. If you plan to use it at your back door and keep the power connect, I recommend it. But if you are planning to take it to camp where you have no power source available. I DO NOT recommend.
