Great for doing your soldering
Great item for soldering but a little light and could tipple over easily if knocked or wires are heavy. Could do with a bit weight in the bottom to keep it sturdy.

Works As Expected.. sort of
Over all handy gadget to work with small items and is what I ordered. The lens are clear and the right magnification. The only complaint I have and it is minor is that the little vice that mounts on the frame is not terribly secure so that should you be polishing something with a dremel for instance, the vice itself 'could' come loose with the material it is holding... Oh, yes... came 2 days early as well!

Great gadget
My son needed a head light & magnifying glass to paint his tiny model village figures & this really does the job. Great little device.

Ok but better alternatives available in my mind
I've used this a handful of times now. Initially I thought it was great but then more recently I pushed the magnifying glass back and it's somehow cut/ripped the wires so the lights no longer work which is annoying. I think the arms are also a little too restricted to make them useful. They do help but sometimes they aren't worth having. I also found the soldering iron holder rotates freely. This lead to my soldering iron burning the back of the stand... simply put there are better items out there that aren't going to break the moment they're put under stress. Thought it was great initially but having used it a few times now I've found it has some design flaws.

Perfect for small items
A very helpful tool, great magnifying glass and simple to use. Ideal for small items for many uses. Inexpensive and easy to use, very happy.

Helpful tool
It's a handy gadget/tool for repairing fine ,minute things, it holds the item steadier than hands, under a brightly lit magnifying glass leaving you two hands free to fix or solder or even changing a small ladies watch batteries great for ageing eyes, paid for itself first time I used it,

Great value and Useful
This the most usefull item. It has a great light and the size is very good. It is very usefull for electronics and hold the circuit board given that extra hand

Flimsy, lightweight and dangerous!
Flimsy, batteries don’t fit properly. Used it for the first time today and the weight of the cable turned the soldering iron and swung it against the pillar of the stand. The iron holder is not fixable and swings around. Hence I now have a burnt hole in the side of the item. This is dangerous and I’m just glad I noticed it before it was too late. I would not buy again and Ian very disappointed with this product!!!
