Lip sync loss
If your using ripped dvds to view via media player change the codec to H_264 to avoid lip sync loss during play back. Especially with SSD drives like Sandisk. I use Magic Disk Ripper which is a great ripper. Breaking Bad lip sync was so bad I had to rip the whole set again to h264 it’s fine now

Perfect for converting USB-A video files into HDMI, playing once or on repeat etc
This is practically perfect. USB sticks can be inserted and removed freely (with no fuss), and it can be set up so it will find JPGs or MP4s etc and play as you wish. It does exactly what it says it does and reliably, and it has some fun features like being able to rotate the display...I have had 3 of these running continuously in a public exhibition for several weeks now.

Ok
This has only one use to me - play videos out of HDMI. It does that with 80% of the clips/files I have tried. So the 'play everything' is not quite correct. The good point is the pause/play button does not flash and On -screen icon on the output so you can safely cue up a clip, leave it in pause and play on request using the remote and it won't clutter the display with OSD.

Sticky OS and playback
The OS is very sticky and slow. Video playback is the same. Nothing seems to plat smoothly
