Take your time
This was a direct replacement for the door gasket on our GE range: correct number of clips in the correct location. Compare part numbers in advance by looking up the parts list on GE's factory-direct parts page to make sure you have the right part.Almost half the clips were damaged upon receipt of the item, but we easily bent them back into position with a little patience and a pair of needle nose pliers. Installation is very intuitive and not difficult, but you'll find yourself with a mess if you try to cut corners and go quickly. Lots of small, easily bent/broken components. The jacket on our unit wasn't nearly as prone to fraying as the other comments suggest. I recommend not taking the gasket out of the factory packaging until you're ready to install, and don't mess with the ends at all except to feed them into the terminating slots on the door. You can do it!

Cheap replica
The spring clips did not fit my gas range made by Whirlpool. Model WEG745H0FS0. When I was installing it and realized it didn't fit, I tried removing it and the spring clips got stuck and would not release. I had to rip them out of the material and the whole thing was buggered. Very disappointed. The material seems lighter weight than the original as well. Disappointing purchase.

Insulation for an oven door
The only thing I did not like is it it didn’t have enough pins. I wish Amazon would sell the insulation with extra. Pins. I wish Amazon would sell the insulation playing with that pins and have as many pins that you can purchase separately. Also, I wasn’t happy with the end they shred and there’s no hand to do it. I mean you can’t tuck it in. It’s very hard at the end, I wish they would make it a lot easier at the end of the line to tuck it in.
