Helped me to fix my set of drawers
Bought these to fix my IKEA set of drawers, as it was second hand and missing some plugs. Now it's sturdy and I have put the remainder in my tool box waiting for the next project!

Disappointing, several were poor quality
It was useful to be able to buy a selection of sizes in a small quantity as I just wanted to fill some holes where I had removed screws. Some had part of the wood missing where there had been knots or bark in the wood. The unblemished ones were fine. I wish I had done a more thorough Amazon search first. When I ran out of the size I wanted I searched again and found "1, 200g Mixed Pack of Hardwood Dowels - Chamfered Fluted Pin Wooden DowelSold by: Falcon Workshop Supplies Ltd. £3.99". A much bigger quantity, better quality and only a little more expensive, hence much better value.

Life savers!
I had ordered a self-assembly book case and, on checking the contents of the pack, found there was a shortage of wooden dowels.I contacted the seller but they. I can understand that they didn't really want me to return the whole unit and, because they weren't the manufacturers, they didn't have any 'spares'.They offered a partial refund which was sufficient to cover the cost of these.I now have spares in case this happens again...in various sizes too.Brilliant!

AGDEQUATE FOR THE CRAFTER
Quick delivery, cheap, does what you need. You're not expected to buy 200 of the things like most vendors seem to specify. Not very hard wood mind....
