These have been the perfect size for my fishing needs. I use these with frozen sardines by cutting off a piece slightly longer than the sardine, tying one end off, stuffing the frozen sardine in it, and then tying off the other end, or tucking it, if you prefer. I use the hook to hold the tucked piece on, to keep shakers from stealing my bait.the elastic is very flexible and stretches a bunch, so you can elect to have it have large openings in the mesh, or smaller - all up to how tight you want to stretch it.

This worked perfectly to hold the dressing in place on the burned finger.

Bought and actually am using it for catfish bait. Simply tie off one end turn it inside out, and then pack whatever bait you want into it. and wrap the hook in it, bait doesn't come off.
