Less obtrusive than the original
A replacement for my old one. This is better as it is angled so less obtrusive. Works well so far.

Replaces the original perfectly!
My charger cable for my old garmin sat nav had broken on the cigarette charger end.I bought this to replace the broken one and was not disappointed.Nice sturdy construction and fits just like the original into the sat nav.A good length of cable to reach the windscreen of most cars on the road.I can use the Garmin again in my car which has no navigation. Highly recommend this product!

Works well - but not compatible with traffic updates.
Beware "compatible"! Yes, the SatNav works - but the minute we plugged our new cord in, a message flashed up, "Not compatible with traffic updates". Since that's fairly important for navigating round cities during rush hours, this was a drag not to have.It should be clear in the product description that this is the case. Other than that, the product is fine - and, I guess, Ok for the price. If I'd known up front that traffic updates weren't available, I'd have given the product 5 stars, as that would have fulfilled its description. As it is, 4 stars.

ACTUALLY WORKS!
I've tried several of the so-called compatible ones- but they weren't, and had to be returned.This one seems a genuine Garmin -and it works! A great price, too.

Works with Garmin Dezel 770 SatNav
It comes as described. It fits my Garmin Dezel 770 SatNav. It has a blue light instead of a red light. I've had no issues with it so far. Would buy it again.

Not fit for Purpose
I bought this charger because my previous charger that came with the Garmin Satnav had broken into pieces. This charger had a nice blue light on the side to tell me if it was working - it was when I first plugged it in but after 30 minutes driving I would get a warning from my Satnav that the battery was low then it would switch off.Took my car to my local garage to check that the ‘Cigar Lighter’ connection was working OK and it was. The owner who also had Garmin plugged his Charger lead in and it worked fine. He then discovered that the pin on my Charger was very stiff and it was forcing itself out of the connection. No amount of pressing the point back in seemed to ease it so I am faced with purchasing another from somewhere? Very disappointed. TF
