Gr8 vernier, good quality
Being plastic you can measure across batteries without shorting them out as you would with a metal vernier

Bought to replace my old worn one
Not overly impressed, this is not the same quality as my previous Draper branded vernier gauge. Both are plastic for safety when measuring power cable diameter, but this new one Feels cheaper. The makers name is now a stick on label rather than being screen printed on, Shame

Accurate to maybe 0.5 mm, precision unclear
They should’ve just left the Vernier scale off these and sold them as simple callipers for whole numbers of mm. Depending on which part of the jaws you measure with, the outer diameter reading can vary by about 0.2mm either way, and the inner diameter and depth gauge also have zero errors of about the same magnitude. Fine for those jobs where a ruler is awkward but the precision implied is a fantasy! None of this should be terribly surprising of course.

Useful to have around the house
These are nice plastic calipers and are useful for measurements around the house.Obviously (plastic and the cost), these are not up to the job of workshop measurements.I'd have given five stars, but the vernier lines don't go right up to the edge of the plastic to match the measuring lines, so it's not too clear to see which match (see the photo).
