The essential building tool. There are of course hundreds available so it is very much find your price range and pick the best suited level - which in my opinion this is for the price.Well made, accurate and robust for real use. The price means that if you do break it or some toe-tag nicks it, you won't be crying in your soup. The size is ideal too. Long enough to be properly useful but not some epic thing that requires a 'Long Load,' sign on the back of your car, van or truck.Highly recommended.

Decent but basic level

This is the best value spirit level you can buy. not only do you get a quality spirit level but you also get the biggest box you will ever need.Want to move home...you can fit everything in this one handy packaging box. Want to house a homeless person over the winter...this box can adequately accommodate 1 large person or 2 small people. Maybe you need an emergency carpet, then you can simply flatten the box and using the spirit level make a completely flat floor covering.Iam going to use mine to upgrade my cats playhouse. At the moment she has a modest 40cm x 30 cm box to play with , this will be like she has won the lottery and bought herself a mansion complete with swimming pool and a garage for 3 cars. At the moment she does not drive but i think that may all be about to change.

Good level, has a nice milled bottom for accuracy and seems pretty solid. Plenty good enough for a DIY'er like me. The great price is what attracted me to this particular level, otherwise I'd probably have bought one that was slightly less yellow...As for other people's comments on the huge boxes being used to ship these, it seems that Amazon has taken this on board, because mine arrived in a long narrow box much more suited to its shape.Good on you Amazon. :-)

I've been taking DIY in the home more seriously as of late, but with the assumption that items already on the wall are level. This has shown me that they're not....For the price, it's well worth it. I bough the 600mm version but I'm sure much of the below counts towards other items. The amount of times since purchasing this I've needed it has probably saved hours in piece of mind and double guessing. I've used this installing kitchen appliances, setting up shelves and installing wall lights. It's small enough to fit in all of the places I need it in my home. Really easy to use, and small enough to use in a variety of cases.
