Great product from Lomo as usual
As a user of a few of their moto bags, I expected this to be good and it really is. Well made, super waterproof and very handy. Amazing value for money

Motorcycle Kit Bag
Got this item to carry my tent and camp bed on a motorcycle trip. I was looking for something that would keep all the camping equipment that I needed together on the rack on my bike. When this arrived it was clear that it was a sturdy well made item. I was able to fit a 2 man dome tent and my Thermarest cot into the bag easily I also had room to add my toolkit for the bike and a couple of other bits.Securing this lot to the rack was pretty easy as well. With all the items contained in the bag I used 3 RokStrap motorcycle ties to hold it in place. Two wrapped around the body through the loops in the handle and onto the Ventura sport rack. The third was secured along the length of the bag over the ends to prevent sideways movement. One end of that Rokstrap went through the loop formed by the bag closure. This was the arrangement for over 1300 miles of mostly Autobahn and did not move at all. Also in heavy rain we had on a couple of occasions the contents remained dry. As you can see in the photo. The bag was the back stop for the bags secured to the seat, so nothing moved leaving me to enjoy the run!Not a glamorous piece of kit but it does it's job well

Fantastic Value, Well Thought Out and Constructed.
I've previously bought a 60 litre Lomo dry bag, which I used on a week-long motorcycle camping trip around Europe as well as a normal overnight/weekend bag. It swallowed up all my camping gear, clothes, tools, sleeping bag the lot, with still a bit of room to spare and proved to be really tough and rugged, but ultimately was too big for everyday use.Lomo was therefore an obvious port of call when I wanted a smaller version, but I went for the specific motorbike drybag as the attachment loops would make for easier and more secure fixing to the pillion seat. It should be note that the bag is NOT the same material or construction as the other normal Lomo drybags, but is a single-skin, tough, waterproof material with welded seams closer to the material used by Oxford, Hein Gerick and Kreiga. The big advantage compared with some other dry bags I've used, is the fact that the opening is the FULL width of the bag and not just a 'slit' that is incorporated into the neck. This has prevented me getting things like a sleeping bag into one in the past, even though the bag itself would have been big enough! The attachment loops are numerous, tough and well placed. There is a useful handle as well as a detachable shoulder strap which will be really handy off the bike. 40 litres is still a big bag, but as it rolls from the end, it's size can more easily be reduced to manageable proportions if you don't need the capacity.I've used a Kreiga 10 litre tailpack for years, all year round in all weathers and really rate them. If I'm honest, I wouldn't say this particular Lomo bag is of quite the same standard (the Kreiga has a double-skin, with a removable waterproof liner), but having said that, I don't envisage any issues, providing you treat it with a little respect and don't fill it full of sharp, pointy things! Added to the fact that this is at least half the price of may other equivalent 'motorcycle' dry bags and CONSIDERABLY less than anything by Kreiga, you can't really go wrong.I've not yet used it in the rain so far, so I can't really comment on the 'waterproofness', but I've used similarly constructed bags before and don't anticipate any issues.

Good size, good idea
Holds plenty. Should be waterproof but not tested Would prefer positive fastening at the end but good value overall.

I was worried it may be too big for my motorcycle but when full and closed it is perfect on my Honda Crossrunner
This LOMO 40L Drybag is huge, when I opened it and spread it out it looked very long, I was worried it may be too big for my motorcycle but when full and closed it is perfect on my Honda Crossrunner. I did a test and it held 4 sets of underwear, 4 pairs socks, 3 pairs jeans, 4 T shirts, 2 shirts, 2 jumper, 1 pair of size 9 shoes, wets jacket and trousers and toiletry bag. Still room for my 8 in tablet and a few bits and bobs. it looks very well made, I haven't tried it in wet weather as I only received it today although If all of the reviews are correct I'm looking forward to my gear being dry, Nice to have a handle and carry strap as well, I was swaying between this and LOMO and 40L Dry Bag Holdall - Yellow with top opening, I'm sure it is fantastic also, but I'm happy the my purchase, I may in the future buy the other LOMO top opening bag if I go on a longer tour as I can bring both strapped together, as it stands I am very happy. A*** so far, I'll update if it doesn't do what it's supposed to do.
