PondKraft Solar Floating Oxygenator Air Pump 100 Lph

The media could not be loaded. Hello, fellows.We have got a pond ~10,000l and, unfortunately, no mains around it. So I bought this Oxygenator last year in Spring and it worked well. No faults, pumping air into the pond. So I bought recently the second one recently because I was not sure how this Oxygenator would work. As I said, it didn't break, was constantly in the pond till late Autumn when I took it out and stored in a shed.Some reviewers mentioned that it works only under direct sun. I would say it needs a bright day to function. Does not have to be direct sun. It operates even during cloudy day just pumping less air. See the video I made during one of those days. It won't work during murky autumn and winter days, but no problems with the light-middle clouded ones during summer.Best regards,Rustam.

Has been working well since I placed it in the pond a few weeks ago. I wrapped a plant tie around the plastic moulding on the top of the item which I then secured to an item on the pond edge to keep the oxygenator in place.

As other reviewers have said, I put this away (in the garage) for Winter and got it out on a bright sunny Spring day and it no longer works.

Super easy to install needs sun, will work on cloudy day too. Really happy with this item. Very affordable and no hassle set up.

When it works it is quite good but any shade stops it in its tracks.

I cannot speak about the longevity (I have only had it for 10 days), but this unit is very well designed. The air flow generated by the solar-Powered Rotary pump exits through a spherical porous rock, creating a strong flow of very small bubbles. Since the smaller the sphere, the higher the surface/volume ratio, this is a clever way to maximize the amount of Oxygen dissolved in the water during the short journey of the bubbles to the surface. I am going to order a second one!

Unfortunately the item was faulty but when advised of this a replacement was sent immediately. It is exactlyl what I wanted. Thank you

I bought this item back in March and have waited for the sunny weather to try it out. Within a few hours in full sun it was working and is working really well now, so I'm pleased. I only gave this product 4 stars as the piece in the middle (I think that's the part that you tie string to so you can anchor it) falls off very easily, so i've had to tie it in a different way. If that was secured well it would've been easier. I am very pleased though as it really is doing a good job and on such a hot day as it is today the koi are appreciating it and spending time around it.
