Refreshing, beautifully scented and effective!
I usually buy a more expensive brand of rosewater, but this time my budget didn’t allow it, so I decided to try this Poppy Austin toner based on the good reviews on Amazon instead. And I’m so happy I did! This toner is very gentle (it is literally spring water and roses) but so effective. I like applying some to a cotton wool pad and wiping it over my skin after cleansing. I have noticed a decrease in pore size, more balanced texture overall and it also hydrates wonderfully.I also use it to add moisture to my skin after my Sarah Chapman Hyaluronic serum: this toner helps to lock in water in areas where you need it most.In fact, I love it so much, I have decanted some into a small spray bottle which I keep in my handbag. Its great for freshening up makeup throughout the day, adding a shot of moisture when needed or simply to refresh (because the scent is SO good!)I was stuck on a train recently. It was the hottest day of the year and trains were being cancelled and changed and it was stressful, hot and annoying, so I pulled my decanter spray of this toner out and spritzed my face and hands to perk myself up. The smell of roses was a real mood lifter and I offered it to the lady sat next to me – she loved it too!I will stick to buying this from now on because I actually prefer it to the more expensive rose water I used to buy. Thanks Poppy Austin – can’t wait to try your other products too.

I will never use a chemical based toner again, Pure rosewater all the way!
I had been reading reviews on blogs about the powers of pure rosewater in skincare, so I decided to try it out myself. After skimming through various other rosewater toners on amazon, I landed on Poppy Austin rosewater. As it had good reviews I decided to purchase and give it a go in my skincare routine. At the time, I was having issues with my skin where I had over exfoliated. The skin around my nose, forehead and chin was very dry, damaged and sore, on top of that I was having breakouts on my cheeks, chin and around my jawline, (I have an oily skin type, with large pores, that's prone to breakouts) as soon as the toner arrived (next day on prime), I started using it with my usual skincare routine. I have just been using it on an oval cotton pad, sweeping it over my face, concentrating on the dry areas morning and night after cleansing and before applying a light moisturiser. I have now gone through the entire bottle (it took about 2 and a half weeks using morning and night), and I can say that the sore, dry patches on my skin have completely gone and my skin generally looks clearer and brighter. I have even had comments from my friends about how fresh my skin is looking at the moment. After applying the toner my skin feels soft and fresh, and my pores look slightly tighter, which is great before applying makeup. I don't think I will use another toner again. Poppy Austin pure rosewater seems to have done wonders for my skin, I just wish I had discovered it sooner.

This is the best rosewater facial toner that I’ve tried. I’ve purchased cheap items in the past which were full of chemicals and alcohol causing my skin to erupt with blotches and on one occasion blisters. Pure Rose Water Facial Toner by Poppy Austin However is 100% pure distilled rosewater with no added chemicals. By law they have to state if they use chemicals in the process of distillation and after researching Poppy Austin doesn’t. Negative reviews of this product are either due to people wanting to use the product for free to get w refund or they are basically allergic to rosewater. Nothing else. As the old saying goes “you get what you pay for” and this is certainly true for this product. It costs more than other items out there but when it comes to skincare I’d rather pay a higher price for a quality product than take the risk with an inferior toner. Also £15 is cheap for a toner that’s 100% pure so it’s not expensive at all. Highly recommend it and after someone told me I look 5 years younger I’m more than happy to be 40 but looking 35. Oh btw. I’m also a guy who uses this. I take care of my skin as every man should so whether your male or female. This is the toner to buy. I’m off to buy another bottle now to keep stock of it.

Refreshing
I've tried other rose hydrosols which have an empowering smell that gives me quite a headache, this rosewater hydrosol does not and is very pleasant to use. The reason I've given this 4/5 stars because of the expensive price tag which makes me weary to buy it again as it comes in a small glass bottle rather than a large size as I was expecting. I also find that I accidentally pour too much out onto cotton wool due to its standard bottle application. Although thumps up that it comes in a brown glass so will remain fresher for longer. So far I've been using this as my toner after a first initial cleanse with either a face wipe or balm cleanser, to clean up the last residue and to restore my skin back to its normal PH level so I can apply an essence on top. The rose water is not sticky at the slightest and I feel I can apply as much as I want to feel refreshed without any irritation.
