I truly enjoyed this kit!
This is probably the 259th paint by numbers kit, seriously I do a lot of them. It is my favorite after work wind down activity. So take it from I know it’s a good kit.I truly can’t stand most the kits on Amazon. The around $9-10 dollar ones. When I search for PBN kits I actually look for the most expensive ones. The best kits I’ve ever done were from Plaid Creates, but they were discontinued and now it’s Schipper Brand kits. They are just so so expensive.I was excited to see Ravensburger branded kits. I trust the brand implicitly from their high/consistent quality puzzles. As I’m the first reviewer I apologize for trying to let people know my history with these kits, take it or leave it but on the product review:The picture board is completely flat, like white paper, most Pbn kit boards are always textured to collect the paint easily (if I had to guess) but this kit, the paint goes on very smooth and evenly. The lines/numbers are orange instead of black which means they are completely covered with one coat of paint. How novel! The paint is extremely matte when dry and I love it!! No glare at all. I can paint in direct sunlight or directly under my lamp. The paints are great quality, no water needed like most kits, and very thick. yes, YOU ONLY NEED ONE COAT!!! Just…that’s the chefs kiss. Only negative thing, one pot was completely dry :(The brush is junk, ensure you have enough fine detail brushes, some sections are extremely tiny. Actually, most sections are really tiny so this kit may be tedious for some, but I love it.Overall 8/10, it would’ve been 10/10 if all the paints were ready to go, and for some strange reason the way the pots are numbered is so bizarre. Instead of 1-32 or A-Z, it’s completely random letters and numbers, like 77, 6, C5, E. Very interesting concept.
