This product has really helped my 6 year old border collie. He was diagnosed with hip dysplasia and had ruptured 2 disks in his spine earlier this year. After 6 weeks of cage rest he began to walk again and was on gabapentin from the vet to manage the pain as metacam made him ill. When the vets decided he should gradually come off the painkillers he was doing OK, gradually increasing his walks from 5 mins to 10 mins etc. But I noticed his leg would wobble when he was trying to bare weight on it to urinate, he looked stiff as he walked occasionally and I was starting to wonder about going back to get more painkillers for him when I remembered a joint supplement I'd heard of a few years ago. Had a look around online and decided on this one and within 2 weeks the difference was clear already, his leg stood stronger, he moved easier and by the time he'd been finished the box I was really pleased with how he seemed a lot happier and in less pain again. He started physiotherapy a few weeks after starting these tablets and I think it has really helped him get the most out of his physiotherapy sessions, and four months on he is completely pain free and had his last session yesterday. I've now ordered the larger box of these, as I will always continue to use them. They've made such a difference I certainly wouldn't stop using them. The other plus is there's no more forcing him to take tablets or hiding them in his food as he absolutely loves these and takes them like a treat twice a day which makes it easier for both of us. Of course I cannot prove that this product has worked, but in combination with Royal Canin Obesity food I think that I might have solved a serious problem.My black & tan Cavalier KC puppy grew to be quite a large dog for the breed. At 18 months he weighed 14.8 kg. Suddenly he began to limp on our walks, sometimes favouring his front left, sometimes his front right leg. A visit to the Vet resulted in (first) a treatment with of anti-inflammatory tablets (useless) quickly followed by a standard X-ray of both forelegs (about £300). The images showed no signs of damage in either leg.Following discussions with his regular Vet, I was persuaded to let a Surgeon Vet examine him and a CT scan was suggested, with my agreement for surgery to be performed if necessary. Hairline fractures were expected, which can be fixed by screws into the affected bone. The results showed no fractures, just some suggestion of bone damage at the top of both radius bones where they enter the socket of the humerus. I was advised that this could be causing early arthritis - and my dog was not yet two years old! This test set me back about £2k!I was advised to get the dog's weight down to 11.0 to 12.0 kg, and I changed his food to Royal Canin Obesity and followed the rules carefully.Now about 3 months later, the dog's weight is down to 12.6 kg and there is no sign of limping. He runs around the park as he did as a one-year old. I have learned that a dog takes 60% of its weight on its front legs, so it is very important that the animal does not get over-weight.He also has been taking one Glucosamine tablet every day, which he enjoys.I have to say that the RC diet plus the Glucosamine have done the job perfectly, and my lovely dog has been restored to be a healthy animal again.

I have a 10 year old mixed dog and she had a awful start in life and in the last few months she has been finding it hard to get on and off her chair and very stiff in the morning so thought I would give these a try and I have to say in two weeks there was a improvement especially getting on her chair, and appears happier She deserve the best and think I find it intense tablets.

I thought the reviews would be crap but these tablets defiantly work.since giving them to my 13 year old dog there's been a noticeable improvement in his day to day life helping him be a lot more active so these must be helping his joint movement and reducing his pain.ide defiantly recoment these for older dogs and the price is great aswell but I would have paid anything to help him have a better life.he has gave me so much over the years I'm just glad I'm giving him a little back

I've been using these tablets for a couple of years on my GSD who has hip dysplasia. They've really helped in keeping him mobile and pain free. He has 4 a day and has always eaten them without any fuss.BUT, they've changed the size of the tablets and he's refusing to eat them! I don't know whether the formula has changed, or the flavour is stronger but he just spits them out. I don't understand why they had to change them. I shall need to look for a different product now!

I’m absolutely thrilled with these! I purchased them for my 9 year old Staffordshire bull terrier. She doesn’t currently have any joint issues or joint pain, but I bought these as more of a preventative to help her as she grows older. The only thing i noticed before purchasing these, was that in a morning when she has her first big stretch her legs would click. She wasn’t in any pain with it, and once her morning stretch was out of the way she would be bouncing around the house ready for fusses and breakfast as usual. But this little crack noise made me realise that she is getting older, and that maybe she needs some sort of supplement to help to keep her fit and healthy for as long as possible. I can honestly say that these have been fantastic! After 2 weeks of her taking them I haven’t heard that click noise when she stretches! It has completely gone, so I have 100% faith that these tablets do exactly what they say on the packet! She is a very energetic dog Regardless, but these have given me hope that she will stay that way for a lot longer. I’d say that it’s best to buy these whilst your dog doesn’t have any joint issues, to keep these sorts of issues at bay for as long as possible. A bonus is that she loves to eat them as they are as they smell like a fish treat, she loves them! She’s just over 15kg and I give her 1 a day, as 2 a day seemed to make her slightly constipated.
