Went From 80mbps to 450mbs
I should probably add pictures to this review but hopefully my words will do for now. This wire is running from my box which is situated in practically the middle of our livingroom downstairs. From here, the wire runs across the skirting, up an over a door, across skirting, feeds outside, runs on the outside wall to upstairs, through the wall upstairs, across skirting and then directly into my XBOX One.I'm unsure how much I used but I have loads still left at either side of the cable I made and still quite a large chunk of wire left. I didn't know how much I needed before I thought about doing it so went for more and I am glad I did because I am definitely going to be making another few for when I am in and around the house.I game a lot, which is why I wanted to hardwire rather than using the WiFi. I tested the network speed on my xbox before and was getting around 80mbps. That's not bad considering but when you are doing 30GB+ for game updates it can take some time. I went from 80mbps to 400mbps+Only time can tell whether this will last the weather but so far I have had zero issues. The wire looks thick enough to last over time.N.B: You will need to get a kit to make an useable cable out of this. I got this and worked perfect: https://www.amazon.co.uk/SGILE-Network-Computer-Maintenance-Stripper/dp/B06X1BKFY9/ref=sr_1_1?dchild=1&keywords=SGILE+9+in+1+Network+Repair+Tools+Kits+-+Computer+Maintenance+Repair+LAN+Network+with+Crimp+Stripper+T&qid=1593552373&quartzVehicle=93-1829&replacementKeywords=sgile+in+1+network+repair+tools+kits+-+computer+maintenance+repair+lan+network+with+crimp+stripper+t&sr=8-1

Good cable
I bought this cable to run around the outside of my apartment.Current wireless is not good enough for streaming HD/Blu-Ray quality from my NAS to my XboxMediaCentre. I was also tired of setting up wifi on the devices connected to my television so I bought this cable and a gigabit Netgear switch with 8 ports so I can easily connect the PS3, Xbox, BoxeeBox, Sky, etc to the internet. This is tough cable because its double shielded (two coats of plastic protection/insulation). Its roughly 7mm, so you'll need a 10mm drill bit (masonry for external walls). I found it that bent around corners easy enough, although because of the type of cable it is slighly less pliable than ordinary cat5/6 cable that I've been used to.The wire colour order I used is : T568B, which you can see on wikipedia: apparently deprecated but worked fine for me on a July2013 brand new Apple Time-Capsule 2TB.1. white/orange stripe2. orange solid3. white/green stripe4. blue solid5. white/blue stripe6. green solid7. white/brown stripe8. brown solidI found stripping the cable tough initially as there was no pull wire to help un-shield the cable. So be-careful not to knick the wires. The inner wires are coated in a sort of oil/liquid that can be messy so keep that in mind as it stained some of my clothes. In summary, worked a treat and was easy enough to crimp/install. Just get the right tools and you'll be fine.

Good cable
Arrived quickly, needed for installation to works outbuildings. Tough cable but will cut against sharp metal edges - use grommets. Has a separate plastic cross piece running through the core to separate the 4 pairs - nice touch. be careful stripping outer insulation as easy to damage the inner cores due to the force needed.Best to punch down onto wall plates as would be tight to get into RJ's and prob a bit too springy. Would buy again if I need to run external cable.

Always great quality from Kenable
I've had to install two external wifi antenna for my security cameras. In the past I've used non external specific LAN cabling and it's breaking down after ten years, which isn't too bad. However, now replaced with this proper external stuff. The individual wire is easy to separate and feed through connector and crimps nice and tight. So far very pleased and would buy again. Great cable to have in stock for interior and exterior projects. It is quite stiff to get into tight bends but it can be done. Recommended.

Buy something else
Really poor quality cable, strands are brittle and snap, some wires snapped internally, avoid

Great Cable, tested to give 850mb at 40m length.
I used this product to connect my house network to my shed which is about 20m away, I used a bit over 40m of the 50m reel.I was surprised to see that the cable didn't contain the water repellent gel inside but after checking the listing it doesn't say this is a feature. On the plus side, this makes it easier to terminate. The cable is certainly solid copper cores and not the copper coated aluminium you get from other suppliers.I ran a speed test and was getting up to 850mb transfer speeds so this is great. The other 150mb are probably overheads or general limitations of my network, the file exchange was passing through multiple network switches.Overall I'm very happy with the product. The only thing that has yet to be seen is it's UV resistance performance but going by the rest of the cable I'm confident it will perform well.

Solid reliable cable.
I've had occasion to buy this several times now, each time the cable has been solid and reliable. It does exactly what you'd expect; survives the British elements and is relatively easy to crimp thanks to solid copper cores. With the marginal price difference, I just buy this outdoor cable for all my longer run use-cases now.Note that this particular cable is unshielded (I believe kenable do sell a shielded one which I have yet to use) so your use case may vary.
